Has IR ever been inspired by ARR?

Hi Guys,
I was listening songs from Nilave Mugam Kaattu by IR.

Music for the 1st and 2nd stanza of the song "suttraathe boomi thaaye" sounded similar to "enai kaanavilaye" song from Kaathal Thesam.

Personally i like both songs. If there are any such inspirations - let's discuss.

  one thing i noticed abt u...u r trying hard ot prove IR is great...GOOD...keep it up..
  
  BUT...u r also trying HARDER to demean ARR...i dunno why?...
  
  i just dun understand one thing abt IR-Directors relationshiop..
  
  MR, Bharathiraja, Vairamuthu, and Now Thankar Bachan....so many ppl..breaking up with IR...but it is not IR's fault?....

  Re: Mani and IR. The differences might be cultural. Mani likes to be 'modern'..IR is traditional/classical in music as well his style of recording/mixing. Even if you ask IR to do a song with disco, swing or hiphop beat it will sound IR'ish and very indian. I hope Mani appreciates the quality in all the songs IR did for him. It is unfair to a serious artiste to expect him to exactly 'sound' like those albums coming from the West or like somebody else. This is probably where the imcompatibility started.

  IR-director/producer realtion was always a big ? in whole of his career. i was wondering why IR is so arrogant with others till i happened to read his book 'PAALVEEDHI'. in that book he clearly states he doesnt hav any respect for these people bcos frm the beggining he knew they r not here to do 'kalaisevai' and they wud go behind anybody who r saleable. so frm the beggining he kept himself at a distance frm these people.
  he had broke with Balachander,bharathiraja,bhagyaraj,mani,AVM..... the list continues
  but iam wondering at the people who r still with him
  fazil,balumahendra,keyaar,kasthuriraaja,rajkiran....
  on IR-mani incompatability: after dalpathi mani broke with GV and went on to do a project for Kavithaalaya[ROJA]- for which IR cant be the MD cos IR broke with balachander long back[puthu puthu arthangal was last movie].so there was no issue betn mani and IR regarding musical styles but it was all MONEY.
  a thought to ponder: if IR hadnt been this tough there wud be no ARR.

  the reason is ir is great. arr is good but not greater than ir.. arr did acheive something but dint achieve what ir has achieved.
  its not fair to compare ir and arr on their present releases... ir also lost his touch and he is too old... ir got more varaities than arr. he has also given some pure carnatic songs. what arr is trying to do is.. he is trying to make music exactly like english songs.. nothing wrong and some of them are good songs too. but the thing is he has'nt done anything special.

  I happened to hear a song from Mahaveer composed by IR. ' Rim Jim Rim Jim' what a marvelous number. I dont understand why Ir has not brought out in Tamil. Several of his hit numbers in Malayalm and Telugu have not been taken in Tamil.

  let me make this clear...
  
  IR is one of the greatest musician...i never ever denied that..listening to his "Kanne Kalaimane"..song....will make me almost cried even now...he is great...he achieved all the possible heights in TFM....
  
  but ARR, is just another great MD....he achieved almost everything possible for a TFM MD outside TFM....why no credits for that?...his talent is great...let it be, ppl say..he's mixing, or what so evr...if mixing is illegal/or not a talent..will there be DJ's popping up everywhere?..
  
  And..i never degraded IR..at any point of time..it only irks me..when ppl say..IR is great...ARR is junk?....

  ARR is great next to IR..in creating music or the knowledge. that is my argument. if anyone argue arr is the best tfm ever had then of course we dont have anyother option other than bring out arr's failers, copying etc etc.. what arr is doing is just bringing english music to tamil (can be creating or copying doesnt matter). for tfm ppl it is new. but for ppl living outside there is nothing new. but it sounds good to hear english music in tamil... so the point is.. arr is good next to IR. I think the greatest md tfm ever had is IR. arr may be the next or the next after the next.
