1. Stop writing songs (even first few lines..)
2. Use good lyricists like Vairamuthu
3. Work with leading directors
4. Stop singing himself
5. Stop using Bhavadharini
6. Stop listening to "Jalra" parties - Eg: RajKiran, Ramarajan
7. Shed some ego

  Sriram - IR would have disciplined some `junior' lyricists, with limited talents...doesn't mean he always put lyricists down...(proof on the link above, which is a `respectable' media IMO)

  Dorai - Thanks. On an unrelated note - I am trying to get the film names and digital versions of these two songs:
  
  Do you remember:
  
  a. "Adi ammadi Chinna Ponnu, Naan solluratha Kaelu Ninnu" - T Rajendar is the MD - Suresh and Nathiya were the lead actors
  
  b. "Yaethammaiyya Yaetham, Unakku romba Yaethammaiyya Yaetham" ...Mohan/Radha - were the lead actors - Ilayaraja is the MD.
  
  Both these movies were released in the mid-80s.

  I humbly think that the maestro ILAIRAAJA is always there at the pinnacle!!!
