  Rahman: Late but worth the wait
  Rajanikanth is apparently awaiting A R Rahman’s consent to score music for his forthcoming film. But Rahman is busy doing rehearsals for his Dubai show, due for September first week, we hear. This makes the wait of Rajani and all filmmakers, who want him to give music for their film, that much longer. Recently, Rajiv Menon blamed Rahman for delaying the release of Kandukondain Kandukondain and Kamal Haasan too remarked in Screen that Rahman is still to score music for Thenali. But can one really blame the maestro? On his part, Rahman is always cautious about accepting films. No wonder Rahman likes directors like Maniratnam who shoot the film in 32 days but wait for eight months for his music. But then they know Rahman’s music is worth the wait.

  Sometime back, I got a link in a forum, leading to SAR's interview to some music site.
  
  He sounds very arrogant. Why the industry and people only pointing IR for arrogancy ?
  
  Tell me, how many years SAR survived in this field ? He claimed that, he is the man who introduced Ceylon "paila" songs.
  Ha Ha .. I couldn't control my laughter. :-))
  
  And now he is claiming that, he is No.1 in melody making. Then, where IR, ARR & all other music directors gone ?
  
  IMO, Deva makes some better music than SAR. Better, not to break our head for these cheap rated claims. :)

  This is state of affairs of TFM.
  We dont have any good music directors or what ?
  IR really stands apart from these buffons.
  I think if IR can team up with VM and give a super hit songs again things will change and only then all these MDS will stop .
  But will this happen. And Yuvan and karthik are also good but why dont they get any chances...
  only GOD knows..!!
  ARR is now more interested in on larger projects may be he is aiming at hollywood and international market.. so all these tfm music scoring to him is like oorukai/side dish now and then to make quick money thats all...

  1) Is IR the MD for Little John, an Eng/Tam/Hindi movie produced by Media Dreams and directed by Singeetham and another movie by Kamal? I read somewhere that IR has been retained for all the four new movies being produced by Media Dreams.

  MD for 'Little John' is Praveen MaNi - Guy who sung 'Shakalakha Baby' with Vasundara. He has done lot of rhythm programming for ARR (As far as I remember from 'Credits' in ARR's latest albums)
