  Listened to `Ilavenirkakala Panjami' in MVU. HH has sung much better than his earlier performances with IR (KM & KK). However, he sings this song a little digitally, with a lot of stress on the consonants, esp. Vallinam, `Oru paththarai mattruththanga nilavaichchanthiththen'.
  
  However, the way he sings the starting line reminds me of the younger days of SPB - `Unnai naan parthathu vennila velaiyil' (Pattikkattu Raaja, MD-SG); over a period of time, with a little more correction on pronunciation (he says bandham as bendham) and stress, he can probabaly match SPB's calibre.

  hariharan is undoubtedly indias best singer ... be it gzals, film songs or any other version.. who else is versatile than he.... listen to sukoon.. , gazal ka mausam..., hazir.... he is mesmerising....

  unni krishnan voice i like the most.
  His song are really good..any comments.

  Hariharan is the best & better than other singers.I love his voice.It's really marvellous.The song's which was sung by Hari are really wonderful,fantastic and more.....Whoever listen to his voice and song were stay in peace.......He have his own way of singing.I love Hariharan....I like the following Hariharan's song:

  I like both Hariharan and SPB.Both are genious in their own rights.They cannot be compared with each other.
  Because judging two be paring ones's opinion as per his own likes and dislikes.
  for eg..
  One may rank nos of songs sung by an artist as the criteria for judging ...
  Other may judge and rank the singer according to his ability & versatality to sing songs in different language...
  Some may say that one singer can express sad mood of song in much better way than the other...
  
  and so on..
  
  So guys which of the parameter you think is Right one.??
  According to me none are wrong ..It just depend on an individual's choice...
  
  Still if we wish to compare the two let their be specific demarcation, catagories ,specfic qualities be mentioned and then Judge and Evalute then..
