  Manase Manase really made me cry! What a song yaar! The interludes take me somewhere. A recent song which made me feel the same is "Preethisuve" from USIRE by KJY and Bhava!

  In the past decade of ARRevolution... i have heard IR songs only after they bcom hit... unlike b4 when i wud check them out a and when released...

  I think thats what IR shld try and acheive ..make his songs more noticable to the general public.. nowadays its sad to see except for some HC fans in the DF no one expects IR's next album that much...

  BTW, how did this movie fare in India (hit or flop or okay). Was it released all over India (I was not in India when the movie was released and hence am curious). Also, was it released in the overseas market? Did anyone see this movie in the theatre. I think its anandavikatan which said that IR has given a very good BGM (digital'il pugundhu vilaiyadi irukkirar..). I am eager to see this movie.

  I heard the movie was released in theatres (Not here in my place - Bangalore)., Not only AV, almost all magazines wrote about its BGM., I remember Sujatha mentioning this in one of his articles, 'IR soRu thaNNi illaama intha padaththukku BGM Compose paNNaar' sort of thing.,
  
  Its surprising that IR has written all the songs for Kaathal Jaathi., Usually Kasthuri Raja writes all the songs for his movies., Ippo een IR ? In thuLLuvathoo iLamai also, He hasn't written any songs.,
  
  IR has also written a song in 'Kutti' it seems., All songs in Azagi to be penned by IR is a old news by now !

  I had the chance of watching Pandavas in Chennai. The movie was very good. IR music pathi kekkanuma!!
  
  But the best part came after the movie got over... None of the audience left till the curtains rolled down and the music stopped playing :)

  Every critic in Bombay blasted the animated film Pandavas and the US-friendly names used in it (Duryods and Yudi for instance) and the fact that they had Indian dubbing artists faking the US accent.... and its poor production and animation quality!
  I haven't seen the film (it was screened for about a week in a matinee show; wasn't publicised well at all) and can't check their claim that it was a bad film.
  However the critics as usual ignored IR's Music score for the same. What can we expect from these guys any way?
  I wonder why Pentamedia didn't think of coming up with a sound track album at least (a la Lion King)!!!
  The side-effect however is that you will get to hear these scores as background music in many a Anu Malik movies and Zee TV serials!!! (I have heard 'Nothing But Wind', 'How To Name It' and L. Subramaniam-Stephan Graphelli album 'Conversations' appearing as BGM scores in quite a few Hindi serials in the past)...
  This is probably why IR doesn't show keen interest in releasing his BGM scores! Understandable, huh?

  I think as you said Pentamedia is to be blamed. IR as usual did his job best, and kept quiet. I dont why these production compnies dont come up with the Soundtrack CD's, esp. for Paandavas.

  Unfortunately AM is the songs MD. Few of my NI friends saw the little bit of promos in TV and appriciated AM for the little bit of BGM that you could hear.

  Adding to the point he also said that he doesn't prefer to engage in a project which has been already given to X or Y. (Still he did Hey Ram , even after it came out of the hands of L.Subramaniam)
  
  But, one thing is , its a great opertunity for him to establish himself as the undisputed king of Indian film BGM is concerned.
