What will be IR's next film under a big banner?

  Hi,
  What ever big banner! he works for, he has to work little hard to regain is place.
  It is better to discuss ways to improve his scores rather than discussing about the banners.

  but I can say one thing, he is good business man, other than that he has knows how to tackle with other producers.
  Raja has to learn this art and behave a little accordingly., There is no need for kamal to give Raja a chance just because he is a great fan of Raja. Kamal Likes Raja's score, but the consumer of Kamals movie - the public ? - if they prefer ARR or DEVA - kamal has to use them.
  ..He is good businessman.
  Even Bharathi Raja also dictched Raja , but I see many happy postings for a Raja BharathiRaja come back!.,.....Movie making is a business they invest a huge sum to earn (ofcourse huge), hence they have the right to decide what they want., it not Raja fans or anybodys...Kamal made is view clear, that he is raja fan.
  (BTW : I am a big Rajini fan than Kamal's - Adhu thani track!, also, How is life? - My new neyar neram is ready - should be on Air this week)

  i shall listen to your latest updation. i hope kamal atleast asks IR to compose music for marudanaayagam. he might be a good businessman, but if u are trying to make a classic like marudanaayagam u cannot compromise quality for commercial value and ask someone like deva or ARR to compose music. i hope that he would choose the best. let's see.

  I heard the same thing about Kamal using IR for his new movie (MARUDANAGAYAM) , but I also read somewhere (sorry I cant remember the exact place off my head) the IR son is the one who is doing the music (Kathik Raja because Kamal was impressed by the way he did the scores in KADAL KADAL (WHATEVER HE MEANS BY THAT ... I HATED THAT MUSIC) and to make matters worst my friend told me that Kamal has asked a Hindi tabala player to do the scores for him ..........any updates pleast let me know I AM ALL CONFUSED

  Though I am happy to hear that IR is getting some
  big banner films, I feel it is probably the most
  difficult test for IR, probably after annakili.
  NOw after 2 decades in the industry, he has
  to prove that he can give hit music like the MDS, he is replacing.
  I dont have any problem with quality in his music but the sound of his music, still does not adhere to current trend.
  I feel he has to come up with entierly different music for sankar movie to get appreciation, other wise people will just denounce his music, comparing with ARR's earlier songs. Even his best
  effort like KM is not enough for sankar movie.
  I still doubt whether IR is flexible enough to take that risk.
  This is also first time after 80s, IR has been
  replacing another MDs(ARR) place, ( IR fans, it is the fact).
  When rasiaah movie came and the songs
  were far inferior compared to ARR numbers for PrabhuDeva, it forced PD made comments like only ARR can score music for my dance numbers.
  Let see, whether sankar is going to say anything
  like that, after his next movie. Until then, IR

  IR is going to score music for Marudanayagan(confirmed).IR also sign to score music for shankar next tamil movie.Other big-banner who is work with IR are P.Vasu,MU.Kalanyiam,K.S Adiyaman,Keyear,C.sunter and etc.This year IR have to score music for more than 36 tamil movie include Rajini's next movie which one directed by vikraman.This movie titled as 'RAMAKRISHNA'.Hindi star Amitab Bachan also act in this movie.Heroien are Simran and Meena.IR also score music for movie titled 'TIME' in five langauage.He is the best ever was and best ever will be.Nobody can beat him in music industries and knowledge.He is born for music.IR life is music.IR is like god of music for other music director.

  better music,includes BGM, for KM. Come on he
  can't even think of the BGM for KM. I think Shankar doesn't deserve IR for his next film.
  Anyway, as a fan, I am expecting good output from

  I never said anything about quality of the IR music. It is the sound of the music, which I have
  problem. I hope you agree with me that a score like KM, is not good enough for sankar movie. It
  needs music which follows current trend, and I am
  sorry to say that IR for some reason, still relucant to go that way. Thats what I meant.
  I dont understand why people including BGM only
  in IR/ARR comparision, and when they compare IR
  with MSV and others, they simply ignore them.
  IMO, sankar films are known for the songs and
  the picturaisation and I dont think he
  needs a brilliant BGM to compliment.

  No harm meant by above statement. But you're right. Shankar does not need a classical BGM to support his visuals. But that's because he uses gimmicks and NOT because his visuals by themselves complement the scene. Anyway a good cameraman maketh not necessarily a good director ! But I agree with you that IR's music is not to current public tastes. Then again, current public taste is not exactly a true measure of IR's music :-)

  I am sure after shanker awards the movie to Raja,
  all IR fans will start speaking good about Shanker, his visual effects etc...
  
  He has done a good job in Kadalan..
  Who knew in India about morphing etc...
  He bought tech into movies,
  BTW : Working in Walt Disney is anyday better than working in Kodambakkam!

  well i didnt know what the guys name was ( the tabala player who i mention that was a condidate to score music for kamals movie) maybe because i dont know any hindi artist and to answer your question SRIKANTH yes i do know that there is a instrument called tabala for once i happen to be a great tabala player ask anyone in canada
