IR's new albums!

  Excepting 'Mayil Pola' all other songs were written by Bharathiyaar, including 'Ethilum...'.

  Details of IR's next project is as below
  
  Ilayaraja has launched on an overseas journey to raise funds for the musical research center he is planning to start. The non-resident Tamils who are living on alien soil extend him warm welcome. They are willing to extend their helping hand to him by contributing their mite.
  
  Ilayaraja has planned to set music score for Tirukural as the first venture of his musical research center. His project conceives setting divine music to all the 1330 rural. Famous singers would render those songs. In all, it is an ambitions project for Ilayaraja. A right hand man of him says that he had already worked out many wondrous musical forms in his quest to make his mission a grand success.

  Which show are going for?I have my tickets for the 8.30Pm friday show. If it is so then ofcourse we can meet in Naz.
  I also checked with mail bag Dharmaraj and because of demand he is screening 5 shows.Also when I got my tickets on wednesday all the shows were almost full. I hope the movie is a run away success.

  I've my tickets for Saturday 8.30 show.
  I think, in Fridar, the show is at 9.30.
  Check the timing.

  Mouna Raagam has significant shades of 'ullaththai killaathe' - a Mahendran movie that introduced Suhasini as an actress.
  
  'uk' had significant shades of 'kokila enna seythuvittaaL?' - a novel by Jeyakaanthan.
  
  However, I refuse to accept that 'nayagan' is a cut and paste of the God Father.
  
  Nayagan is a Tamil/Indian 'adaptation' of God Father.
  
  There is a difference between an adaptation and a copy/translation. (Do you accept there is a difference between ARR and Deva?! :-) )

  Hi,
  Finally i went to see Bharathi yesterday.
  It is really a nice movie. I won't say it is 100% nice. but a lovely movie. it's even wrong to call it a movie.
  Though i(most of us) never felt it's an art movie. but still, somehow, the different incidents in Bharathy's life have not been compiled coherently.
  And of course, as reported in some reviews elsewhere, the trains that are showed looked like d our present day trains. so they looked out of sync. with the period.(this may be due to the financial obligations).
  Also, the reactions of people who are around Bharathy, whenever Bharathy expresses his feelings to them, is not convincing. looked like they don't know how to act/react.
  But these draw backs can not and will not take the credit of the entire team for producing such a beauty in Tamil Cinema's history.
  The acting of Saayajee as Bharathy is simply superb. Even the kid as Bharathy was brilliant.
  Saayajee is too good in his brilliance,anti-traditional sentiments,concerns for the poor down trodden people, arrogance, patiotism, sense of humour and what not.
  Same with Devyaani as Chellamma. will be her lifetime role.
  When we speak about the Photography, waaav! what a great job by Thangar Bachaan. Can someone list some of his commercial movies, please?
  He is amazing. Even a slight mistake would've created a feeling of watching a documentary. but from the shot one till the end, the photography is simply having a poetic touch. just like Bharathy's thinkings. the locations,songs picturization are extraordinary.
  Similarly, Krishnamurthy's job in the settings is wonderful.
  Now, the music.
  I really cannot express my feelings. The songs in the CD are only trailers. At many places, it looks like there is nor bgm. but, if we carefully observe, then we can enjoy the marvellous work or Raaja. But it's really in the background to avoid distraction from Bharathy.
  There are couple of more Bharathy's songs in the movie which are not in the CD. they are also superb. and some songs come only half in the movie. like, Ethilum, Mayilpola,Ninnai Charan.
  Ninnai Charan has been used as BGM at many places where Chellam is helpless.
  KJY's voice looks much better in the film than in the CD.
  Guys, if some of u aren't happy with the CD, please reserve your opinion till u see the movie. then, your view may take an U turn.
  
  Finally, the direction:
  Excepting the compilation of the events, Raajasekaran is brilliant in his efforts. and we can see his hardwork and enthu in making such movies throughot the film.

  I have just started a discusion of how sometimes a MD has to score music for dir. he doesnt like to workwith. In case of IR he worked with KSR only due to financial restraints and will work with Gnana Shekaran for money+ something of satisfying work. But how well commercial dirs like to venture with IR as MD ? thats the sad part of it.
  I think IR should try something new different from this current formula!!
  I think he is already started on that,And i am sure he will succeed in that process.
  Guys who is this muscat sunder i prefer to call him Mosquito sundar as he is poking his nose in every thread? :O

  I still remember the interview he gave on SUNTv during the 'Puja' of 'Thenali'., He was telling 'Arr was very kind enough to accept this movie., Avar peyaraich chonnathum padatthukku new value vanthirukku, Pootti poottuttu vaanga ready-yaa irukkaanga'.
  
  It is OK to praise a guy. I don't deny that., But just imagine Ganguly saying 'Once Tendulkar is in our team, We are going to win, No doubt' - u should believe in you first sir., Then others., personally I feel KSR doesn't have that self confidence., He is a good business Man and thats it.
