IR 's Family in Boom

Guys, I think this year, we have good inputs from Raaja family, Friends, Dheena, thulluvado ilamai, Ullam Kollai Pogudhe, Dumm Dumm Dumm. What could be the reason behind. Is it due to the fact that, ARR is busy composing for B'bay Dreams,just like ARR sneaked in , when IR was busy with Royal Philharmonic or is it really the bloom time for IR family, to just come out with good music. share your comments.

  Kalaignan was scored by Maestro. Did Maragathamani score music for Kamal/Rajini? I don't think so.

  In 2001,
  
  IR's "Friends" ran for 175 days.
  YSR's "Dheena" ran for 125 days.
  KR's "Vanjeenathan" and "Dum Dum Dum" ran for 100 days.
  
  But they end up with
  
  IR - no commercial movie
  YSR - no promising movie
  KR - no Tamil Movie.
  
  They couldn't get a break what they deserve, even after the commercial success of the above movies.

  I think KR has a GREAT luck in industry. We can't find a fault with his scoring and yet, he is struggling to see his name. Most of his movies are a hit.... something is surely wrong with him.

  Most of his movies are a hit I don't remember any hit movies excepting Dum Dum Dum, though songs were hits in most of the movies.

  STS, here is a small list.
  
  1) Manikkam - Raakamma, Enakena raasa,thoothu sella.
  2) Ullasam - all the songs.
  3) Kadalaa Kadalaa - all the songs.
  4) Grahan - all the songs.
  5) Naam iruvar namakku iruvar - all the songs.
  6) Ullam kollai poguthe - some of them were....
  7) Dumm dumm dumm

  Fully agree. I said the same if you see my posting above. I said songs were hits but not the movies. As long as the movie is a failure, everyone shares bad luck including MD (cine sentiment). That probably is the reason holding KR. But after DDD he should get many offers but don't see many.

  I observe that Harris Jeyaraj's albums (Majnu, 12B) are gettin 'extranomous' advertisement, at least here in Malaysia. But for me the Q of the songs are just technically good. But original recipes from IR in Kathal Sathi are ruining publicity. WHY?

  Did you guys know that KR did the BGM for 'Hum Apke ho gaye'(or something like that - starring Fardeen Khan)? - while the music itself was by Nadeem Shravan.
  
  I happened to watch the film last week. KR's BGM was nothing exceptional but was not bad, he has to go a long way to reach his father. I was surprise to see KR's name in the title especially since I did not read this news anywhere. Ofcourse I guess the film itself was a remake of some tamil film (don't know which) - the director of the film was Ahathiyan.
