  This is not an album of ARR that I have listened to that much, with the exception of the first two songs. I really liked the 'Chill allava' parts in the Niagara song. It just made you want to get up and dance!

  I was saying "2nd charanam vandhuduche, thiruppi bore adikkudhey :-)" C'mon, you know how I used to bash ARR ! You cannot misconstrue this as bashing ;-) Incidentally, ARR does try out different things in each charanam in some of his songs.
  
  About considering the MD, I simply cannot avoid it ! In my mind, ARR shall always be a few notches below IR ! Therefore, if I have to enjoy his albums, I will have to make some concessions for the MD ! It is purely IMO ! ARR-ukkey ippadi na, Deva album review panna ! Ayyo saami, manda kaanjidum ;-)

  You got me right there ! It was an honest and biased review ! But I claimed right at the very beginning that it would be biased - it would have to be biased if I had to be honest too ! Like I said, my wife really liked the "Chill Allava" part too - my dislike for it is purely because of my preferences !

  Your sarcasm is wasted on me :-) I have always maintained that when I have a choice, I would rather spend my time listening to IR's old numbers than his new ones (or ARR's for that matter)! I reviewed "Padayappa" because I thought it would be a change from the usual and that people would find something interesting/controversial to discuss for a few days without flaming each other. But come to think of it, it might not be a bad idea to review one of IR's new albums either ! Only problem is that if I give it a good review, I'll be accused of blind appreciation for IR, and if I slam it, I'll be accused of trying to appease you :-) It really is a thankless job !
  
  In general:
  I really liked the way UK sang "Thirakkatha Kaatukulle". My dislike for Chitra's parts was due to the fact that the tune was vague and she did not seem to make the extra effort to make the song sound any different from the others that she sings. For whatever I heard of the lyrics, I think UK's style of singing was more suitable (konjam harsh and raw).

  Srinath sar, i liked your unbiased biased reviews of Padaiyappa and ESK. In fact, I like the reviews so much, I am reading it again, again, again, more again. The albums I listened only twice once before your review some time ago, second after reading your wonderful reviews. Thank you for the unbiased reviews. Now, I will go back to Rajasthan.   Shocking news!!! Fine, it is okay Rajini is the first best export from India to Japan. But, ARR is also becoming more and more lucky. Read this, please and let us beat this topic somemore as I am quite upset that Rajini's earlier films with IR was not exported to Japan.

  Is it not IR the MD for Yajaman? It seems, Yajaman, Dancing Maharaja II is also a top draw. Man, our dreams are coming true. Only in poverty and recession, I think people become spriritual and see Indian films! Long live spirituality!
