  hai everybody
  i'm a great fan of ilayaraja.recent songs from IR are really good. Particularly the BGM of Hey! Ram And Sethu. Only he can give such worldclass nativity touchy music. Only good directors can make use of raja's immense talents.
  I'm sure that one day the whole world will recognize him as one of the best musician of all times.
  
  Let us not compare this maestro with people who markets themself in a beautiful manner.

  Hi All
  I'm from Singapore & have a query abt HEY RAM album.
  
  I know the album is released by Universal.
  Is this only for the Hindi version or for both?
  In Singapore i've never come across the Tamil version release by Universal.I've only seen it combined with other movies in one CD & they look dodgy.
  
  Where can i get the authentic ones in Singapore?
  Or where can i order from in india?

  That is a real way to end as a winner.
  
  To our illayaraja.. I first listen to his songs
  starts from Aboorva Sagotharkal..but what facinates me actually...I went back to his old collection.
  That really suprise me till now. Because most cases of other Music Director the only things that sooth your ears are the new piece of composition .
  I went first to Uthiri Pookal , then Kilake
  Pogum Rayel... 16 Vayethele..Till now I wonder
  how he could do classical guitar piece
  in the song Senthoraa Povee.. Real vintage Raja.
  Then I went to hear those album in between. Kokhi
  Kuvethu..Etho mogum... I cannot belive my ears
  and I wont be suprise that this piece even been
  recognise by French artist as master piece.
  Until now... he still giving surprise to us with lovely compostion.
  He is not a someone who mix music but compose one.
  Just listen to Masi Masam agatha Ponnu Maman
  Onnuku Thane . A late 80's song with rich composition and orchestra.
  
  ARR and IR are great talent with diffent
  perception in their very own mind.
  For IR there would a millions of fan follows
  him.

  BGM in Hey! Ram and Sethu really captivating and ...no words to describe..! Wonder why HR can't be accepted by certain group of audience (may be they prefer masala type of TF like Mudhalvan where songs, story, romance, graphics and comedy all goes). ....As confused as Saket Ram!

  What i read about BR's next venture is that, BR approached "sedhu" bala for directing his next movie with manoj as Hero. Bala has accepted the offer with 2 conditions...
  1) Bala shud be given full liberty and BR shud never poke his nose in director's activity.
  2) Raja shud be the MD.

  Anandavikatan has review of Hey Ram today. But no marks have been awarded (at least in the internet version). Did anybody read the magazine in India yet? Did it receive any marks?

  I would say PazhaniBharathi and Arivumathi are also doing Good job for IR songs.

  Bharathi Raja is producing 2 movies with Manoj in lead. One is gonna be directed by Bala and the other 'Alli Arjuna' is by Charan (AmarkkaLam Fame). I was very happy to know that Bala insisted on IR for the movie. (Avaraavathu naNDRiyooda irukkaaree., Unlike Mu. Kalanjchiyam., ;-). But at the same time, when I heard the news abt. the other movie, En santhoosham kaaNaama poochchu.
  It seems BR approached ARR for 'Alli Arjuna'., He told he will no more sign up for any Tamil movie. So namma aaLu., 'Taal' and 'Pukar' songs-ooda Rights mattum vaangittu vanthuttaaraam. Songs will be Tamil-ified from those two movies. God only knows who will do the BGM etc., Now they need to use the existing songs, and no way they can get songs that sync. with the movie. They have to make songs sync. with the story., ;-) Ippadi oru nilaimai BR-kku varaNumaa ? ILlai Charan-ukkuthaan varaNumaa ? Kathaiyaik keettu purinjchukittu, uNarvoodu isai amaiththa kaalam enna aachchu ? Cine-ulakamee commercial mayamaa aayiduththee.,

  As seen from DF'ers reviews of `sethu' songs, we can't be jubilant about another IR album for Bala (director). He may be good in movie direction i.e. in all other departments, but is he another BR, KB or MR in extracting real good SONGS from IR?

  visiri, sabesan, i felt it was good that IR is taking mu.mEtha. the current dryness/monotony in thamizh lyrics can be put out to a little extent by such endeavours.

  AV used to give marks for individual performances.

  Hello Friends,
  I was playing the song Raamanaalum(Hindi version) from Hey Ram to one of my Northie friends and he immediately told me that this is exactly a copy of Pudhu maapillaikku(Hindi version) from Appu Raaja.Also he told me that IR cannot do music for Hindi audiences and if he does he would just copy from some sources.When he told me that I was very upset and tried to convice him.But he never gave hears to what I said and beleived that ARR is only person who could do music for all generations.Can someone throw some light on the above two songs if they resemble each other as I am not able to see anything.
