  International bollywood award!!? good oxymoron. I went to a bollywood award in long island, NY. They called 4 actors, 5 actress, 3 singers and one MD. And all the awards went to one or the other. It was just a show, with awards as excuse.
  They get few local celebrities, mayors who came and sit like they are in some zulu tribe fest, and utter few nice words. (In my case steven segal and richard gere taked about suffering tibetians in bollywood awards - who is bothered!). These are no better than some Vannathirai award. A grade MDs like him refrain from such cheap shows.

  It is true that ARR is great in fabricating samples. Most of the time he relies on a superhit song and adds his imagination to it. For ex. "Unadu Rajamgam ithu thane" from Muthu will have similarities with "Ullathil Nalla Ullam" from Karnan. You have to careful to observe the simililarity.

  Hats off to Harris Jayaraj...This ASTHANA key board player of ARR has come out with successful album MINNALE...starring Madhavan,Reema, Abbas...
  Songs are surely ARR style including TAMIL KOLAI by Roopkumar Rathod this time....But hear Bombay Jayasree's VASEEGARANE...twice...You are sure to cry...In Chennai check with any audio shop any where MINNALE casette is beating IR's FRIENDS sales by considerable volume...Although a ARR, clone type music MINNALE is worth buying...

  I havent heard al the songs yet. But Vaseegara deserves some mention. It is very catchy and Bombay Jayashree has done a decent job in a pop song. Basically the song has a standard rap beat with a known sandham(though i dont remember the original exactly)but has a terrific addictive melody in it.
  
  Depending on how Rima Sen looks and dances in this song this song could be a chartbuster for quite soem time :))

  There are two things which can help ARR by joining with VM.
  
  1) It may do good for ARR's confidence level + good lyrics
  
  2)It removes the bad image ARR acquired by dumping VM.

  I do agree that Harris Jayaraj did wonderful musical score especially the songs 'Vaasegara'and
  Venmathiye Venmathiye ...and it is worth buying cassettes or cd ..... I can't hardly wait the releases of A.R.Rahuman new musical score in 'Uthaya' , 'Engineer' , 'Star' , Muthal-muthalagha' and his new album 'Bombay Dreams'...
  and 'Robo'....... Shankar Mahadevan's 'Alavandhan'
  is also eagerly wait plus YuvanShankar Raja's in
  'Vaachinathan'and 'Dhina'.... If anyone of u have
  the news of these following films as mentioned

  arr is indeed a keralite. His mom was a mallu moslem and his dad a hindu who was an MD in malluland.
