IR copied vande maatharam in kilakkum Merkum - Kumudam latest issue.

The movie review of kilakkum Merkum says that IR lifted ARR's Vande maatharam music in the movie's BGM. Can anyone who have seen the movie Confirm this.?? Thanks

  I completely AGREE with Madhan. Madhan pointed out Nayagan so as to emphasize on Kumudam's knowledge about BGM music. As he rightly said, that peice of song is the Killer in the film. It not only gives a punch , but adds very much to the visuals in bringing out the best of the visuals in portraying every turmoil the character undergoes in his life. If they say that is the jhavvu music, that shows their .???.
  
  More than anything, I usually observe IR's BGM . If u have seen Raajapaarvai and Salangai Oli , it's the ultimate in BGM.
  
  Neo MD's should watch these movies to learn how to compose BGM.!!!
  
  Especially in Salangai Oli , there are more than 5 different types of BGM, that IR has used throughout the movie to suit the changing scenario in the life of Kamal , Jayapradha . I have seen the movie several times ( I have the BGM in a tape -if u want i can send a copy to you.)These are 1. whenevr Kamal's desires (of giving a public dance performance ) goes unfulfilled 2. the affection Jayapradha shows towards Kamal 3. The budding love between them 4. Kamal's mother's hopes for his son 4. Jayapradha's situation as it realtes to her broken marriage.
  
  He has handled differenent peices for each of these situations in the movie, and each one is a gem. Now if someone says that it's a jhavvu then imagine how harsh a comment it is. See Salangai Oli once and see for urself. U'll be hooked for ever to his BGM.
  
  Is Kumudam capable enough to comment on IR's BGM - atleast it needs more involvement to comment on IR"s BGM. Simply passing a casual remark is very easy. Even i can say , IR is Good or Bad or he copied.
  
  As i said earlier in this thread , If Kumudam is so sure about the credibility of it's report , then it should have said, YES , IR copied. But they did not do it. That shows their standing.!!
  
  Sorry to say this., But like someone said before,
  Kai, Kal matrum ithara samaacharangalai pottu ithu entha nadigai endru sollungal - Ithu thaan kumuthathin speciality . SO to expect anything more than that is wrong on our part .
  
  So please don't try to justify Kumudam's stand Please. Even they did not do it.

  Yes, I saw Kumudam's Light's On section. It's preposterous. They did not confirm their first news. and now they are using it to remark IR.
  
  Anyway, I watched Kilakkum Merkum Movie yesterday. I had VM CD by the side and repeatedly listened to both. The only common thing I found was both had drum beats. That's all. I am planning to record the short BGM peice which is alleged to be lifted from VM. I'll also put VM opening beat in teh tape.
  
  Gopal/MPR , can u guys put audio files on u'r web site so that people can listen for themselves. I can send u the tapes.
