  hey i dont think kalaiyil ezhunthu song is actually about a little boy abt his amma (suryah to devayani), if i am not wrong..it is suryah finding motherly love from his wife simran....
  
  or probably suryah missing motherly love (since he turned into a guy cudnt see his mom for a long time) while simran consoles.....
  
  neways in pavithra it is about a guy who didnt experience motherly love, who is longing for it singing with lots of feelings
  
  haha for the first time it is not IR vs ARR or ARR vs HJ , it is vintage ARR vs techno ARR

  I like Simran's acting in emotional scenes. atha paartha naanum emotional aagiduven. censors yentha emotional scenes-um cut panaama irunthaa nalla irukkum. oru motin picture naa oru 4 emotional scenes irukka thana seyyum. itha purinchikka mudiyala intha censor board.

  Completely illogical, but very entertaining (if u aren't the prudish type!).. He could have avoided all those telugu actors and their irritating scenes. Amazing Dialogues!! Double meaning-ku pudhu definition kuduka try panneerukaar SJ S :)
  
  Simran.. I doubt if this is her last film... Deepak indha padatha paartharu-na innum konjanaal-la she'll be free to act in films! But she's done a brilliant job never-the-less! :)
  
  SJ Suryah.. well, he's tried to act well, he's tried to dance well, he's even added an unnecessary fight to show that he's tried to fight well! But he should have tried to look good! mudiyala-na at least closeups kammi panneerukalaam. We have the next Kamal, folx!! (Who's talkin abt acting or dancing here! C~P Virumandi-ke avalo tension aanan.. idha paartha suththam!) :)
  
  Kiran.. poi padatha paarunga! naan edhuvum sollradha illa!!! :) But she's gonna be flooded w/ offers after this!
  
  Devayani.. she should be given an award for this film. In fact she could even write a book on "How to emote in all the wrong ways and irritate the hell outta the audience"... Romba kodumai! :( I dont know if she's dubbed for herself.. nadippa vida kodumaya oru voice.. Lipsync-kum vaai asaipukkum sambandhame illa!!

  There's grandeur and richness in every shot.. and the songs have been picturised quite well. Emotional scenes-la azhanama sirikanama-nu puriyaama muzhichen!
  
  Overall... nalla timepass. But thappi thavari kooda family-oda poidaadhenga.. nor w/ ur girlfriend! She wouldnt like u ogling at Simran and Kiran! And come on, it isnt a fair trade off... All the choice she gets are u and SJ Suryah.. the poor girl! ;)

  And yeah..
  In Sakkarai song, there's a really dumb filter used where top half of the screen has a pink hue and the bottom alf is clear..

  The picturisation of adi anarkaLi was hilarious. Especially in last stanza. Vaseegaran will jump like anju george and fall down. Then he will hold his left hand like he is having fits and sing..aandava....
