  Dear forum
  I agreed with Moorthy. IR is the genius. No one is going to replace him. He can make any tune into a big hit. All music loving tamils are so lucky to have him. He came from nowhere to become a genius. I challenge Rajaraman to make atleast one song that can be appriciated by atleast 100 people

  on Symphony.. it is still Pulli ...varthu Varuthu! story only!....
  Bhavathrani's Childs walk or steps.. there are more childern who could sing better, can be found in Kamani poonga program.Why the hell should we give her time. She is been allowed to sing just for the reason that she is Raja's magal. This same Raja commented on TMS's voice and L.R.Eswari's voice as not fit for his recording ..I dont know how Bhava's voice now fits, elam thanaku vantha therium....Bhava has to work more to get a atleast a hearable voice.

  u r very very correct. u know lots of beauty queens and genius all are dying without exposing them. But she has come. she is not so bad. We have Janaki, she very well can sing more than a child. why don't we use her voice always.
  As u said there r brillients like Kanmani Poonga, u know an old saying, "kamban veettu kattutharium kavi padum", she is singing, unlike "police mahan thirudan", that much u should be happy.
  
  To my taste, she is okay. I don't find much difference with her voice. You know , some times u may not even bear some famous singers, they'd have tried some ugly expression. So I'd like to say she is normal, not more or not less.

  "Kamban veettu kattu thariyum kavi padum"... othukkirEn... KR, YSR composing music like their father and Bavatharini (according to me who ever listen her songs will feel 'paava'tharani) is singing like her father. She has to improve her voice. As Srikanth pointed out if TMS voice didn't suit for IR's music then the same for Bava too. Summa IR fan enbatharkkaga Bava padaradhu N-alla irukkunu sollaradhu too much

  why do you want to say that 'bhava. is singing bad' and want to compare her's with IR's. hey! hey! how much do you know about singing and voices.. have you not heard kAdhal oviyam(AO), poomAlayE(..murali), thenral vandhu(A), janani(TM).. how do you say IR's voice is bad? do you have any set rules for a good voice? hear C.S. Jayaraman, madhurai Somu.. every voice is good in their own way.. it's only in the way you use it or certain voices suit certain songs very well.It's in the MD's talent to select singers for voices. Dont' just abruptly say 'this voice is horrible..'
  moorthy's has said that Bhava's voice is 'normal, not more or not less' and that i think is right. dont' just always keep on thappu kandupidichifying in IR - neenga not a IR fan enbatharkkaga. (what a sentence formation..)

  Listen to "Kathum kadal uLLe oRu mutheduthu vandhEn" song by SPB and SJ.
  The first interlude in this song is same as the prelude of the solo song(chitra i guess) from Guru.(malayalam). Both are in same raga i guess.

  One of my friend says that the BGM/signature tune [flute & tabla] of "GoodMorning India" in Star TV has some resemblance with the interludes of "ooradangum saamththula" from 'puthu-patti ponnu thayee'. Is IR started scoring for TVs too?

  something that comes at the top of my head. IR used to copy some of his own tunes into other songs. Like, we had 'poongaatru pudhithaanadhu....' by KJ from moondrampirai movie. Later the interludes were lifted and dropped into a rajini movie, 'thampikku endha ooru'. The song is 'en vaazhvile varum anbe vaa...' by SPB.

  Have you heard Iru Kanngal from Dharma? It's a copy of IR's very own Oh Vaanam Ulla Kaalam varai vaalum intha kaadhal ithu taan devan theerpaadu. I guess that they're both in Natabairavhi Ragam. Very similar to each other and the same song is done many times in the movie, by different singers as is Oh Vaanam....
  
  Also a song in Poonthottam in a Hamsandhi type ragam sounds like an older one, sorry for being vague....

  Have anyone heard of the song "Kattumkadal ullirunthu muthu ondru yeduthen" from some prabhu film in which prabhu acts as a fisherman(Not the film with kasturi and with song " anthiyalla vanam".).This song is sung by Mano and Janaki, at the end of the song you get chorus humming which is very similar to humming you get in the tamil song "Sindhu nathiyin isai "(actually you get the chorus in the telugu part of the song ..).

  That particular song is from the film 'Kattumarakaran." I didnt see any traces of "sindu" in that song.

  IR has scored music for more than 500 films. We call him genius becoz he made us to think that "WE can listen to Tamil Songs too". During his period, I doubt anyone had thought he copied from
  XYZ. But the current scenario is entirely different.
  
  Indeed, IR did copy !!! ,-:)
  
  If he is creative, it would not have been possible
  for A.Rahman to pull a crowd of his own from Raja!

  IR copy music?No way...!If you say other MD copy music from IR,I can believe that because it nature.IR is more briliant than a genius.He is best ever was and best ever will be.He is a world class MD.He is still India NO.1 music director.AR,Deva,Sirpi,Atidyam and etc have to fall on IR legs.He is also been impresed by western country music director.Nobody can beat him in film music.IR is the king of music for all time.
