Comparing Ramana and Sokka Thangam

Ramana and Sokka Thangam are the last two movies of Viajaya Kanth.

Ramana had music by Ilayaraja and Sokka Thangam by Deva.

Sokka Thangam songs are captivating and immediately attracts the listeners. Even the most hard core of IR fans however will have difficulty recalling Ramana songs. Sad, but true.

Let it be Rajini, Kamal, Vijaya Kanth, Ajit or Vijay, Deva RULEZ!

Only those who have listened to both the movie songs are requested to comment.

  Make as much fun as you want.
  Nothing's gonna change the fact that even Deva produces better songs these days compared to poor IR.

  Well, obviously, IR doesn't read your nasty postings directed at him, or he just takes them very lightly. Otherwise, he'd be out of the music industry. LP, Villain, etc., I'm talking to you guys!
  
  Anyway, my take on both Ramanaa and Sokkathangam. Neither of them are big hits IMHO. Which one is better? I could not say. Both were pretty average.

  As for the remarks in this forum reaching IR, YES it does!!!
  As you know, the epitome of crudeness, nastiness, rudeness, vulgarity, etc etc - ambleen, represents raajangahm and raajangham is the internet spy of IR. So, every bit of discussion here is carried to him.
  And that is why we have a responsibility to ensure that he gets the correct message.
  
  Here is a posting from a responsible member of this Page, talking about IR... (I hope ambleen does his job.)
  
  
  Regardless of the artists' talent, if they just crank out stuff from their templates I hold them in contempt. If you can't show enthusiasm for your work, just quit with honor.

  You guys sling too much mud on a genius IR. Agreed most of his Fans are possessive and can't accept any other alternative to IR.
  
  But that is not IR's problem. Isn't it? In fact he once could steal the hearts of bunch of listeners who can still fight for him.
  
  Guys, please go easy on poor IR.
  
  Regarding Ambleen as Raagangahm spy, I don't think IR is so high tech. guy to have Internet spy. I think, we few educated guys having access to Internet means nothing to cassette sales market or his popularity.
