  ARR bashing has started even before the cassette
  is released. i wonder how many of them actually listened to the song clip before posting here.
  
  BTW Ram I dont think its tough. any guy who reads the forum regularly knows the answer.

  YAAR: i cannot speak for others, but since u sweepingly questioned whether the guys who posted listened to the song clip, i have. if u see my postings, u will find that i have mentioned quite a bit about the song itself (apart from criticizing it). and it was *song bashing* and not direct ARR bashing.. of course, ARR has to take the blame and the bashing too:-)

  i listened to the song clip. i read someone saying
  it is a folk vrsion of "mercury pookal". i still dont understand the link between mercury pookal and "en peru padayappa". ennaya olaringa? summa eldudhanume nu yenda ezhudaringa? i still feel many people (IR fans?????) bash ARR just for the sake of it. Eagerly looking forward to the song by nityashree. Vels is it possible to upload it?

  It is mandatory that everybody in this forum maintain a level of respectability while expressing their opinions. Within no time one can get down to the standards of slums, but it needs a lot of time to recover.
  
  From your posting I infer that you are literally a "blind" ARR fan. You have mentioned that "yaro" has written in a post that Mercury Pookkal is similar to padayappa. If you did not 'know' it was me, I am justified in calling you visually challenged. Please go and refer to that post and you will find that I have ended it with a positive note. After all, I feel, it is the fan crowd of ARR that is acting instinctively with little work to the upper chamber.

  I think the song Em peru Padayappa is O.K.I guess it is one of those that grow on u after repeated listenings.Also I think people criticise ARR more than IR or SAR or Deva for that matter.Simply tearing him into pieces after listening to 1 song is silly.

  Is Padayappa released around the world? In London, they say that it won't be available for a week or so.
  
  I must admit(and I'm known as an ARR Fan only, here even though I am a fan of Good music) that the En Peyaru song on the net 'sucks'. It sounds like one that Sabesh-Murali have been sanctioned by ARR to do(like the BGM of ESK). This is quite worrying, as this is just the type of song that ARR has never before done and the type of song that I would refrain from listening to. However, I have heard good things about the other songs, so I'm am looking forward in anticipation to hearing them, especially Nithyashree's song.
  
  Does anyone know the world-wide release date of Padayappa Album? I will look in the shops again today, before I scoot off to France.

  Hi,
  I dont know whether it is world wide release or not but in an Ad in Dina thanthi it was given that the songs will be released on Monday(29 th) all over Tamil Nadu.Also u cannot expect more from a MD composing for Rajni at the present time becos the creativity is curbed due to his status and that there is a select formula for Rajni films which has to be followed whoever the MD is.Although Muthu was an above average album,it was one of ARR's worst albums.
  The expectations in my place( Coimbatore) for Padayappa are sky-hiiiiiigh and I think it is the same world wide.Let's hope ARR does not dissapoint us.

  Thanks Hrishi. Nice to see you back in the forum. How is Purnima? I hope it's as good as the hype. I'm just disappointed at the song on the net, which, as I said may as well have been done by Sabesh-Murali. I guess I'll have to wait 'till the Easter Weekend to get the album.
  
  Shankar: Hrishi is a lot younger than you, so please don't put him down for his taste in music or what he classes as above average. I think that he compared Muthu with some of the Deva albums for Rajani. I personally didn't like Muthu very much, but lets face it, the album was a hit, therefore, something in it caught the attention of the mass. Each to thier own.
  
  By the way, I know how much you hate ARR, why must you always pass 'snide' comments on people saying positive things about him or his work? Is it really necessary? Thsi thread is about his albums and not one for bashing, this is an established fact around here, you've been surfing for a while, please adhere to this. Sorry Ravi, I had to say this.....Please keep the harmony by avoiding this. By the way, I did notice the smiley, but putting one of those cannot let you get away with passing any comment you wish.

  is being so grandly awaited ? I was under the impression that after the BJP _ bomb explosion_Rajni's_statement_last_year, Coimbatore makkal were very annoyed with Rajni ?

  My intitial reaction to this album : surprise
  It does NOT sound like your typical ARR album.
  In fact the only 'ARR sound' I could detect was his trademark harmony used effectively in the 2nd interlude of O-OH O-OH KIKI ERUDAE ( A song I considered very enjoyable).
  NB : I don't understand Tamil so if the lyrics were crappy I wouldn't know. Can anyone enlighten me on what the song is about ?
