  Valaiyosai Kalakalavena..... this song is written by one and only Kavignyar Vaali. The speciality about this song is that the lyrics were filled by Vaali after being tuned completely by Maestro IR. It has been sung by SPB and Lata Mangeshkar

  I AM A FAN OF THE GREAT GREAT POET "VAALI" - LIKE THE WRITE SUJATHA QWOTED HIM AS A 'MARATHON POET" - HE STILL RUNS IN THIS FILM INDUSTRY - HE ONLY CAN RUN IN THIS FILM, INDUSTRY EVEN AFTER THIRTY FIVE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. ANYBODY CAN SAY THAT HE WRITE VERY SLANG & ENGLISH WORDS IN HIS LYRICS NOW-A-DAYS, BUT IT IS NOT HIS MISTAKE. HE WRITES AS TO THE DIRECTORS' WISH. HIS POETIC POWERE IS STILL WITHIN HIM. THE TRUE EXAMPLE IS 'MINNALE' FILM. IN THAT FILM HE WROTE 3 SONGS - (1) OH MAMA MAMA (2) YEH THEEYE AZHAGIYA THEEYE & (3) VENMATHIYE -

  yes Vaali's greatness is not properly advertised.
  His wordplay in Tamil is unmatched.Many of the songs written by him are still wrongly thought as written by Kannadasan

  This is Vishnu again....! I have been debating with a group of Vairamuthu fans that he is so obssessed with the female organs....and that too the upper organs. Well, If any girl is reading this, please dont get offended, coz' am only trying to bring out the inner being in Vairamuthu. There are so many songs where he has written like that...to quote a few., here they are:

  this is again baskar after a long time. am very glad to know that there aree to many fans of vaali like me. for you all to enjoy, i reproduce herebelow (translitration, of course) the wordings (issue dt.26-12-01) of vaali from his latest masterpiece 'Ramanuja Kaaviyam' which he wrote in vikatan for the past one n half years:
  
  in that, the baby ramanujan's mother is singing a lullaby for the child :
  
  *yiraavananae ivvulagil :*the man with 10 heads
  *yiraavanam irudhi seidha :*making absent
  *yiraavananae-yiravi kulatthu :*black colour body
  yiraagavanae thaalaelo !
  
  he played here with the works. 'yiraavanan' is the asura king 'raavan' and in the third line he used the same name to Lord ShriRam as 'yiraavanan' becuase, in tamil 'yira' means night, i.e, the lord with the colour of black like that of night. what a superb play with tamil. none of the poets would have thought this and none had called rama as 'yiraavana'. read the full works of vaali and enjoy once again.
