Above is my personal opion., I replied to an email from karthick, Actually I did not want to comment on this in public, but kartick took my liberty. :)
in short, I trust ARR and his music much more than these "shareware", "public domain" piracy sites.

I doubt ARR used these loops. It must be other way around. AFAIK, ARR uses only the rhythm loops. Look at the interview snippet posted in another thread, ARR does not deny 'telephone manipOl' rhythm sounding similar to 'Ace of Base'. He just says, 'I have equipped myself better to produce more original rhythms NOW'. I guess he is also referring to skills/talent and not just equipment :)
The above site provides the wav files maybe we should check whether the clip is sonially identical to the KK song. If so, I would guess, these New Yorkers have ripped ARRs song (and they classify it as ethnic/world beat too).
Srikanth, if I were a popular MD I would not use the loops from the most famous companies !!! Anyways, considering the amount of loops in the public domain..looks like we cannot trust an MD who can surf the net :) not you Srikanth :)

Hello Sir,
I am sorry, but these are not part of any product that we sell, nor do we
know who added these to the Flashkit.com site under our name. As far as we
are concerned, you can do what you like with them. It is true that we upload
flash music to the site, but it doesn't take a password or user name, so
someone else must have been adding these. We do not in fact make any type of
Indian Music. However, if you are interested in listening to some of our
loops, please visit www.loopkit.com. You will be able to download upwards
of 20 loops for free!
Have a nice Day,
MNM

Savinji Ja Ja 001 and Million Mile Love 001. I understand that these are
part of the Loopkit Pro CD. Since I'm planning to use it as part of a
multi-million dollar web advertising campaign for an software MNC, I'd like
to know if I can procure the necessary copyright to use these 2 loops before
I purchase the CD.

'just a thought'..I do know..I have not 1/2 but less knowledge ..maybe a drop..I do know I have a lot to learn :(
Anyways, my suspicions were correct ARR could not have used these.

On the same note, even the Taal loops were found in that flashkit site. Two people had posted it in this page. Check out the reply from one of them to whom I had written to!

Haha, no...of course Rahman created it, I just looped it from his song and uploaded it because it sounded nice and wanted to share it with the rest of the flashkit community.
Thanks

Dear Mr Singh,
Had heard your Taal loop posted in the flashkit pages' loop section.
http://www.flashkit.com/cgi-bin/loops/search.cgi?query=taal
Just wanted to check if you created it first and then Rahman used it in Subash Ghai's Taal or the other way around! Do let me know!
