I think Deva is the Best creative MD in the world ,what u say ?

  Errr.....haven't we all been here and done all this lots of times before? In the end DEVA is the person who ends up getting all the trashing.
  
  Yes, DEVA is GOOD (I would agree) and he also COPIES HEAVILY (We all know this) and he had churned out GOOD HITS (every now and then, be it original or not) and he is definetely NOT the BEST MD around (a matter of personal opinion)

  friends my humble request is please dont fight (if at all u do..from the postings i believe so)
  
  why dont we follow a pattern, say, suppose somebody says X is good, even though v feel he is very bad lets try, think a lot to find out some good points about that X; post it. then v will be amazed to see lots of such good thing will be posted about 'even' that X (whom v think is not good). then lets see what will be the positive response for our beloved Y even from those who hate Y.

  I realy hate Deva, for making a career just by copying. Even most of his gaana are copies. All these songs were around before.
  
  BUT, there is a big positive side about him.
  Many of his songs, if you forget the source, they are good in their own right. The blend, the flow are not bad at all. Asai, nerkku ner and many other songs are slick, also they are not kichadi stuff. On the other day I was listening to some mallu songs (kadhalukku mariyadhai's orginal movie). Songs were mash of 3 beats, 4 tunes, few desparate rahman alabanai and interludes, just played coming one after the other. The main tune was sweet and original, but so what? the end product is disgusting. Compared to that deva is far better.

  I think DEVA introduced the trend of copying in TFM. Aasai, Nerukku Ner had excellent songs, it made very brisk business. BUT How many of you know that it contained blatant copies of 1978 Disco Dance Albums?
  These are never to be encouraged. This makes the young music directors too to copy to gain instant popularity and cassette sales. In fact Mani Sharma too very tactfully copies some songs from old english hits.
  Dear TFM lovers, Pl.do not encouarge MD, if you know that they are copying. Let they be original & creative.
  I have greatest regards for IR, in a sense that he creates lots of new tunes, just out his indepth knowledge on Music & 25 years of experience, and not by listening to other albums.

  yea deva is the copy king. but sometimes he gives some good songs. his recent album kadal sadu kudu is nice.
