  IR once told in an interview that fans should not complain about bad music .They should go and fine good music wherever it is. Bad and good being personal perceptios,BTW. RameshB perhaps meant that he has found a soothing balm in Harikrishnans as opposed tot he cacophony that TFM is.)
  
  RF: Nice work. I would only request you to be more innovative. For a starter, try something like this:
  "ARR put music for 1942. RDB was dummy for that"
  
  While you create a few laughs with your "ARR best,IR worst" kind of posts, I find them insufficient to tickle my ribs. Perhaps because I am used to that 'genius' called ARR Fan who was far more creative, innovative and educative,too with his posts-he was the one who came up with that RDB stuff, man , creativity like that is rare really!

  hi friends
  listened to "Padaiyappa" songs finally , it's just pathetic, the songs are below average not even close to any of the worst album of ARR so far, and infact worst than Deva's score for the previous Rajini movies. I am really surprised how Rajini's so called hard(wild)core fans have taken this. This reminds me the downfall of the Superstar Bib B (Amitab bachan) with some of his movies in early 90's and late 80's with scores by the great copy cat Anu malik like Mard, Ganga Jamuna Saraswathi and others,
  Vaazhga rajini, his fans and Arr and his fans

  I do not understand what is actually going on here. Isn't this topic is about ARR's new releases? But what I see is just some pupils own disgression and feelings put forward.
  
  Padaiappa songs are really not ARRish. This is a fact with exception to Minsara Kanna. The first time when listened to the title song of Padaiyappa, I thought the score is by Deva. To my surprise is was actually but ARR. What I saw in Padaiyappa was a song by Deva, one by IR, one by Sirpi, amother one by Vidyasagar and ARR only in Minsara Kanna. I and also everybody else missed ARR in Padaiyappa. But this does not mean that ARR is no more ARR. It is just ARR is missing in this particular movie. So what is the big deal here? Surely will are going to see him in his future projects.
  
  And about the banning issue----- Please be sensitive and sensible before reaching to any conclusion.Always think twice before say it.

  Srinath, Raaj, etc. have considerable amount of experience in this forum. Try to give and take respect. There is no use absolutely in taking IR fans to task, as that would be an highly provocative step.
  
  Just browse the thread and post your `honorable' opinion, without taking jibes against anyone. Or else the best thing for you would be to get out of this forum and talk all that you need at anyone of the Chat channels like yahoo chat, talkcities.com chat, etc...to give vent to your `biased' feelings.

  ragumanfan : With due respect, I would like to point out that before ARR "gave hits" like Roja, Bombay and then?... Anyway, IR had hits like Nayagan, Agni Natchathiram, Idhaya Koil, Anjali, Gitanjali for the same Maniratnam.
  
  So perhaps it is a bit early to say that ARR is the asthana MD for Maniratnam - not that that is saying much.

  So who is Maniratnam all the way??? Apart from Roja, Nayagan and Mouna Raagam, what good movie did this guy give?? He is the guru of ARR -- in terms of hype and media publicity is concerned. He has lost his stuff to give at least commerical hits, if not good movies like Mouna Raagam. So he does not deserve IR's music. Even if ARR joins with Mani Ratnam, he is going to give only mediocre tunes. After all he could not even give some good numbers for Padaiyappa knowing fully well how the whole cinifield was having great expectations on his album for Rajini; that too Padiayappa being a crucial movie for Rajini towards his end of the career in cinifield.

  Shankar: Dont worry ..I wont soil my hands with RF's blood:-))). I am genuinely trying to help him...You see it is in a way entertainment, as chandy puts it, provided it is done in a ARR Fan-esque manner. And it stops being entrtainment when RF takes to his peak ....I am trying to open his eyes to his more illustrious and,IMO, more capable predecessor ARR Fan. Now, there was a guy who knew his stuff...whose imagination worked overtime to entrtain us. It is my avowed duty to raise RF to that level:-)))
  
  Besides, I have a nagging doubt if RF is really a RF or a particularly famous ex-DF-er who knows that the easiest way to defame a MD is for him to post in that favour of that MD:-))).I am just providing for that possibility :))
