IR's new albums!

  This is IR thread Ido not want much to say on ARR.But the fact is he is back at Chennai....Completed music for ALLI-ARJUNA...Going to compose music for Shankar's next...Sorry to say...He will be handling more assignments in Tamil henceforth....as he has lots of reservations in working abroad...NEENGA Udane Solluveenga....ARR...Paruppu Velinattule Vegale..Appadeeennu.....
  One more recent album of IR that sounded very good was DEVATHAI....
  Yes DEENA is a low budget film to fill up the GAP for Ajay...Vikatan and Kaadhalagi are mere announcements....Honestly IR family members will not dominate TFM....His sons will end up like Gangai Amaran....a.ahmed...

  Rompa santhoosham., I don't feel like arguing with you when you just force all possible statements without any proof/justification. Neenga solRathee sariyaa irukkattum., Let us finish this topic here. Probably we can refresh this after 5 years. Let us see what KR and YSR are doing at that time.

  When people are comparing IR and ARR (20:1 ratio in terms of number of films), I don't think it is wrong to compare ARR with YSR/KR who have proved their talent in atleast a couple of albums and are at par with ARR in many things.

  Don't ever compare IR's genius with people like ARR. I agree he is popular, even I like some songs of him. But in order to appreciate, don't degrade IR. Even your ARR had worked with him. In Last one year - IR has given, TIME, SETHU, THIRUNELVELI, KARISALKARRU POOVAE, HEY RAM, KANNUKKUL NILAVU, ILAYAVAN, BHARATHI. As for as music is concerned on this films, he has done exceptionally well in songs and as well as in BGM. IR's worst BGM is ARR's best BGM. The BGM of Tenali- just a sucking BGM for a silly movie.
  
  Just understand what is a real music, then start comparing ARR with IR. If you still try to compare them, then it is nothing but ignorance.Sorry to say this.

  Let us only discuss about the IR's albums in 'IR's New Album' thread and only 'ARR's Albums' in ARR's New lbum thread'. There are numerous thread for comapring IR with ARR, ARR with YSR and KR.

  bArathy is melody dominated album (BTW, is vandE mAtaram used in the movie ?) though vandE mAtaram and baratha samuthAyam have good orchestrations. So can we people have the ability to compare melodies from different composers ? Or how do we rate melodies ? Sincere question.

  When you inform about alli arjuna and Shankar's next film, they are authenticated. But if someone else inform about vikatan, kaathalaagi, they are 'mere announcements'. What a logic!!

  I read in one interview of R. Pandiya Rajan somewhere., He was mentioning about this old Balum Mahendra movie which was completed long back, But not released due to financial problems.
  Now it seems they are going to release that.
  
  So ... IR fans can expect a IR album of 80's Standards ? With Vairamuthu's lyrics ? :-)
  
  Any idea about the audio cassette of this movie ? already release aachchaa, illai inimeethaan varumaa ?

  I bought a CD a long long time ago, which has songs
  from the two movies: en iniya pon nilAvE and
  kAval paRavaigaL. The cover says both movies
  were MDd by MSV-IR together. Unfortunately the
  cover does not say which songs are from which movie.
  There are 13 songs in that CD. I have encoded all
  those 13 songs and put them here for you to listen

  I haven't at any time said IR's music is not soulful.Some of his numbers surely are.

  I heard the songs through your link. The idea for 'nEram nallarukku' (#11)is taken from the song from 'ek thuje ke liye'. The prelude of 'thookkam pidikkalai' by Prabhakar (#5)has been copied by MMKeeravani in the 'aathivaasi' type song in Kshana Kshanam. Just my observations.
