IR's psychedelic compositions

Hi all,
Have you all wondered any song by raja which is psychedelic....This is a concept used by an english band called "PINK FLOYD"....
You feel you are floating in air and some kind of crazy thoughts come to your mind on listening to them...You feel very hollow basically and of course you get addicted to the song.
One example is in TFM is Yenge Nimmathi...by MSV....
The best ones by IR that I can recall are the following...
1.Yenge Sellum Intha paathai.....Sethu(the best)
2.Sundari Kannal Oru seithi....Thalapathi(The BGMs)
3.Pani Vizhum Iravu...Mouna ragam(I like this one)
4.Adi Aathadi....Kadalora Kavithaigal(not all of it ,though)
5....lot more

Guys keep adding song list u think are psyche and affect you...No IR ARR fight plz....

  AS, 'Thoodu' is an agmark charukesi raagam like 'AAdal kalaiye' in SriRaghavendra.
  There is another lovely chaukesi by IR in film 'Periyakudumbam' - 'Thathi thathi thaavidum' sung by SPB and Chitra.
  I heard only the music of 'pottuvaitha' was also sent as sample to RoyalPhilharmonic before symphony composition

  Nila Kayum Neram from sembaruthi...U can imagine urself in between yellow mustard flowers in Swiss and a heroine singing along with you...
  I forgot the initial chord of that song...I think it is in Bm....long time since i touched my acoustic...the initial chord is very tricky...somethin like BmSus4 or something

  Kasthuri,
  Pink Floyd is an english band who are a classic rock/light band.Their shows are awesome filled with maginificient lights.I had been to one of their shows and felt psyched out.
  They wrote songs on common problems like war, teachers annoying students and stuff like that.They also wrote love songs...but a only a lil bit...
  To make their audience feel the same feelings, they use some strange psychedelic instruments, seconds, leads and a drawbar/ slide guitar, and of course maginificent voices both on the scale and harmonics....
  The guy who wrote the maximum songs is called Roger Waters...the bassist of the band.An earlier guitarist of the band called...Syd Barrett went insane after too much doping and getting involved and common problems.
  So he was replaced by David Gilmore....a talented guitarist...he was taught guitaring by syd barett...
  Try seeing one of their videos and u'll know...These guys are specialists in these effects:)

  I feel "deiviga ragam" is a perfect example and thanks for pointing it out Balu:)
  actually in that movie, kamal acts as a SCHIZOPHRENIC who has an acture pyrophobia...like syd barett(heheh)
  so i love the way raaja and his recording engg., have made the song sound hollow and drifting....that makes feel his madcap effect:)
  
  the girl is burnt alive and kamal witnesses it in person and so ....
  now i think we r gettin the psyche groove...hehehehe

  Sorry for drifting off the topic, "Manidha Manidha" from the movie Shajahan is a song to be mentioned in the category under discussion though the music was not scored by IR(socred by Manisharma). This song creates the mood of the song in u amazingly. One gets carried away in to a world full of sorrow.

  I was refering to "Manidha Manidha" of Shajahan and not "Manidha Manidha ini un Vizhigal".
  
  Howere the song that u mentioned too is very good in bringing out the anger and in making ur blood boil. A similar song is "Oru Pakkam Oru Nyayam" form the movie Adharmam.Though the later is no match to the former.

  one damn line in which the lyricist struck two mangoes with one stone.. one is "their promises are false like astrology" and the other "astrology is false".
