  s.janaki sang the nenjinilae song from uyirae in the a.r.rehman live in concert held on feb 21,what a graet voice..........she is still the isaiyarasi.....a comment given by a.r.rehman with a loud applause of the audience and the other singers.

  hey guys,
  S Janaki till now, has really got a greqat voice, and although i dun listen to new songs at all, i'll always listen to the 80s..
  S janki together with Sp bala, KJ Jesudoss and even M'sia vasudevan, has done wonders to the music provided by music directors. it really takes something to change the song, even tjhough the music isnt nice, for instance, i dun think it'll sound nice if Vani Jeyaram sang the song Enthan Kannil, frm the movie Guru,
  i'm also looking for the song Anbu Malargalin frm the movie, Kannukku Mai Ezhuthi, pls tell me where i can get it! thansk!!!

  S Janaki, unarguably a gifted singer is the undisputed melody queen of the South. She has captured the hearts of millions of people and her soulful, stirring voice has moved many of them into tears.
  
  Janaki was a child prodigy who took to singing at a tender age of three. A strong believer in self learning, she came up with sheer hard work and commitment to music. When Janaki sings, her voice could match the notes of Nadaswaram - even when the pitch reaches a crescendo!
  
  Her first Tamil movie song was a film called Vidhiyin Vilayattu. And the strange thing is, the film never came out! -- Vidhi Vilayadithu! --
  
  Her penchant for music was nurtured by her uncle, who later introduced her to AVM studios. Her voice is so captivating that during one of her performances, people gathered to witness a nearby film shooting joined her programmme.   Hi, S Janaki is a wonderful singer and a great singer, recently in Malaysia, Astro Vanavil has invited her for the Deepavali 2003 to perform a show and they have aired 2 time within 1 1/2 months. You know even as old she is.. i think must be 70, her voice still wonderful. Now days most of the singer sing will while recording and on the stage they cannot really perform the songs as it is in the Audio/CD but she sing as tho no different in the CD and live.. From old songs to new songs and she assemble the child voice, male voice and old lady voice and said i'm too old lady.. make the audiance laugh... There is once I saw a show SPB with S Janaki, you know something she sang in a male voice (like sp bala)and request spbala to stand besides her. The song is Panivilum Malar Vanam - sung by SPB. She sung the whole songs. Other sings will scat it will spoil they voice but she is daring and she knows that is given by God, so what ever you do the voice will be same.   I am ur fan ,Now i can't heare your voice in any film. What reason? Plz try to sing in film. Is there any private recent song .If there means send the name of the cassete.u are voice of tamil nadu.
