  read kumudam.understand how big all young peoples think of arr.arr is really great.
  kovaithambi,donot say arr run out of stuff.you say you do not like padaiapa songs.but see how cassetes are selling.
  all people like arr except for few guys.this guys do not like arr.because they are jealousy of him.they cannot
  digest that arr achived so much in his very young age.
  rajini movies always have poor songs.listen to anamalai,veera,batcha songs.only few songs are good.
  but arr put excellent music for him in muthu and padaiapa.north or south or east or west arr is best.
  if someone say arr is bad then that is the only reason.

  why is it popular.because arr captured the heart of millions of fans.and they eagerly expect arr new album.
  miss world is stupid function.but world cup is big event.important event.
  putting music for it is prestige.some guys cannot tolerate it becaues of their
  jealousy over the arr growth.when is world cup theme songs going to be

  Why should we really feel jealousy over a person who has a `stunted growth'? (I mean his musical growth!!)If ARR gives good music, then I will listen to it. If IR gives great music, I am for it.
  
  My Superstar Mr.Kovai Thambi made a good decision not to bring ARR for his Motherland Pictures, as he knew that this guy cannot produce the goods for Tamil cine field like IR. IR-Kovai Thambi combination is the BEST combination ever in Tamil Film History.
  
  Coming to the topic.....ARR's new releases...Padaiyappa is a flop!! Reasons---> That is what we are here for analyzing it.

  Raj! Like the emptying out of what little stuff ARR had, his fans too are running out of stuff - otherwise no sane guy with some sense of music will say there had been no good songs in Veera! That album was a Oasis in that desertlike year! (Konji Konji, Malaikkoil are both great songs appreciated by all music loving people. Maadaththile was a jolly song.) Probably the last good album for a Rajini movie (now that he is quite adamant in not choosing IR)!

  Hello Leena, IR is history and Padayappa songs are blaring in street corners - know something , even Daler Mahendi's albums scream out from most audio shops- there are some janmams who get DMahendi's albums recorded !!
  
  BTW, you know that ARR needs Rajini's name to boost his album - in Tamil Nadu, everything now is HYPE OVER HYPE with very little substance.....

  HERE IS A GOLDEN RULE
  memorize the following lines 3 times (probably 100!!!) bfore coming to this forum.
  
  I have grouped them into three main categories
  IR, ARR/IR, ARR
  
  
  VERY IMPORTANT ---IR
  1. IR is music.
  2. music is IR.
  3. music and IR are one and the same
  4. music and IR cannot be different.
  5. any thing which is not by IR is NOT music.
  6. in other words music without IR is utter nonsense.
  7. IR is the only composer in all of history
  8. composers from hollywood are INSPIRED by IR
  9. IR is the only exponent of carnatic, rock, jazz, western,xxx,yyy,zzz (you can fill in the rest)
  10. IR after releasing his symphony MAY redefine western classical music.
  11. IR WILL/MAY BE DOING maniratnam's, shankar's (top director xxx) next movie.
  
  ( after repeating this xxx times say Repeat "IR MUSIC MUSIC IR" (another 100 times).
  
  IR/ARR
  1. any MEDIOCRE IR score is better than ANY ARR score.
  2. needless to say any GREAT IR score is
  definitely superior.
  3. IR's "do not compare" in HTNI is a stunner while ARR's mumbai theme/thai manne vanakkam/masoom are all NONSENSE.
  3. IR "USES " some ragam effectively while ARR just "COPIES" it.

  1. ARR is NONSENSE. this is going to be the most difficult of all and no SANE GUY wud ever say this because bcos many critics/fans ( not only myself but many ) are convinced that ARR is a PHENOMENON, A TREND SETTER,A LEGEND and beyond doubt a musical GENIUS. may be you are insane(:-)))) like many people here. so you can alyways try it.
  
  conclusion: this forum has never acknowleged ARR for what he really is ( and probably never will) A PHENOMENON, A TREND SETTER,A LEGEND and beyond doubt a musical GENIUS.
  
  so leena you have two options

  From your words, I believe you are an ardent ARR Fan. I can understand your feelings but don't you think you are taking things a little too far. Believe me, I am also an ARR fan and I am also a frequent DFer. And, from my experience here, I will say that this is the best forum you can get to get good, unbiased reviews of TFM. You seem to be under the impression that there are lot of fans/devotees of IR here and they criticize ARR for no reason. Of course, there are some people who blindly attack ARR because of their affinity towards IR's music. But, if you see the posts of MS, Raj, Srinath, RajaG, Shankar, Vijay, bb and a lot others (in no particular order), you can understand that they always substantiate their arguments and do not argue blindly. If they say IR is the best, it is not just a blind statement. They give every reasons for it. And, as far as I know, all the regular DFers have said that ARR is also a talented ability but he lacks in certain things and that is why he cannot be called the best. And, they have never failed to appreciate his good albums. So, please do not come to this hasty conclusion and blame this forum. Personally, I have learnt a lot from this forum and I can't digest someone saying that this forum is biased.
