Vairamuthu once said ARR is better than IR

Dear Guys,

VM once said about ARR while releasing Karuthamma that " Ilayaraja Gramathilirundhu Vandhavar, Avar Graamiya Isai Amaippadhu Periya Aacharyyam Illai, But ARR Oru Nagaratthu Vaalibar, Avar Graamatthu Isai Amaippadhudhan Periya Saadhanai"..

but what I say is:
Gramathil therukoothu pottavar Royal Philharmonic Orchestrala Symphony pottadha marandhuteengalada??

I need your sincere opinion about this guys..

  BTW,mesmerised by the no appadi from ivan-what a song.esp the second interlude almost gets you to a fugue state.

  You are absolutely right. For this reason only IR Symphony album is not released. Its only in Tamil IR's copying is ignored because no body listen to IR's songs anymore (except some deaf people in this forum of course).

  I think "Kavithai Kelungal" comes close to a symphony type.. It is difficult to exactly the grammer of symphony. But it is somewhat close
  
  First movement which is "kavithai kelungal"
  with western beats as background. It is fast
  
  Second movement which is "dinna dinna" by TV gopalakrishhan i guess with carnatic beats. It is slow. Then the first movement is improvised starting from "Netru en pattil sudhiyum vilagiyadhe" with both western beats and carnatic beats mixed. Again kavithai kelungal starts just with western beat.
  
  Third movement is "jagana jagana" starts gently with KJY humming.. instruments keep adding. The music builds to a crescendo.
  
  
  Fourth Movement He switches back to traditional music with "om theemtha" stanza. He improves upon the previous two movements and gradually picks up the speed. From "Vilakku velicham iruttai kizikkattum" he gradually increases the speed and ends grandly.
  
  It is a complex song by Illayaraja. Vani Jayaram did a great job too.
