Stone Cold..
Buddhiya kamichitanga....ARR's Ekam Satyam may be included in the International version of the album or Sony music's Indian release of the album...I am sure this is what will happen...Madonna had the guts to include Sanskrit shlokas but being the freak that Jackson is..I'm not surprised but just like all his other albums..I'll ignore this one too content with seeing it on MTV or hearing it on radio..

I'm sure Sony Music's Indian version of the album would carry ARR's number, though its possible that it might be omitted in the international version. The video of the first song and the song itself...'you rock my world' is very pedestrian. There are shades of the MJ of yore, but it surely looks like a wrong choice for an opening number to be previewed! Wonder how the rest fo the album be.

Before he was half out of sync with the world..now looks like he has totally lost touch.....well it was very evident the day he sang "It doesn't matter if you are Black or White" and then bleached himself pale...the height of hypocricy !

I think MJ is a really nice person by nature. But he is having trouble controlling his mind. Maybe certain things are considered normal in the US :) like sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber :). You see, we guys coming from a conservative soceity like India have better cultural and religious hooks to hold on to our sanity. Believe me..temples are not there for ensuring a perfect stay in heaven after death. They are for the present ..earthly stay :)

cosmician,
see! there r many reasons and theories as to why his skin color appears that what! and in anycase even if he delibrately bleached himself pale it didnt contadict what he said in the song whcih was nice.
I have all along maintained that Good trend setters and poor trend followers. i.e if some one crops up suddenly and sets a new trend they invariable loose the plot. MJ cud be classified in that category.
Plus the hyperbaric chamber , Elephant mans bones, money mountains etc are exaagerated by the tabloid. recently i have been seeing stories abt hilary being unfaithful to bill, julia roberts bla bla... tabloids are like vaaramalar mag in TN no person who respects his self esteem wud value the contents of these tabloids.
//"Believe me..temples are not there for ensuring a perfect stay in heaven after death. They are for the present ..earthly stay :)"//
wonderful point! really brings out R.K.N's philosophy of difference between american and indian life :-)
I also believe MJ has a good sense and tuch with the current world he associates with succesful people( van halen, paul Mcartney, MAdonna, slash, nsync, britney etc) apart from a musician he has a good PR team. His entire album should tell the story.. frankly i am dissapointd with 2 thing
1) the upcoming confirmed news that ARR ( any indian wud have been good for me) is not in MJ's album
2) u Rock mY world. its sounds good but definitely not in B & W / Bad range but some where in the scream range of poor starters... Lets listen to "cry" and see.

Is that hyperbaric chamber a rumor ? I remember very concrete info about this. who is R.K.N ? Sorry..I am not well-read !!
BTW, since this thread is about new releases..I want to mention something about 'Star'. ARR has come a long way in recording from using synths and drum machines to get a 'clean' sound. New releases have more and more of acoustic instruments. Even though he does not use them 'ambiently' but prefers to give the listeners a close up view, it makes for a very pleasant listening experience. Other MDs and their sound engineers still haven't figured out how to do the mix like ARR. HJ is doing it but like ARR was doing a few years earlier.
BTW, I like nEnthukittEn for a diff. way of singing and manasukkuL oru puyal for its simplicity.

kiru,
hyperbaric chamber is not completly a rumor. its sort of exaggerated. MJ has(or had) a room (or his entire house) which basically purified air coming in since he was paranoid abt his health. he even wears a mask bcoz of this.
if u see his "leave me alone" video which basically lists and mocks popular rumors about him. u wud see this hyperbolic chamber new item and MJ laughing at it...
I have seen his bedroom photos(infact a lot of neverland photos) at it looks pretty normal..
RKN is our R.K Narayan. He wrote an article in Outlook regarding Indians in america. I have it and can forward it to u if u want.
Just curious..can u tell me more abt the concrete evidence just in case u have seen a news item that i may have missed. I know thie hyperbaric chamber thro tabloids and MTV news items etc...
