ARR Rahman scoring music for Isaignani Ilaiyaraja

All times in EST +10:30 for IST.

The much talked about film " Popcorn " was originally to be scored by YSR. But due to YSR being in high demand,he has had to reject this movie and it has been passed to ARR. This movie is the life story of the great Maestro Isaignani Ilayaraja. ARR will be scoring the music,but I don't think he will be able to even attempt to score music like the Great Genius.

  Why all of yu wasting time these of type of discussions. Any way, IR is the best for both songs and BGM. Still i never seen any MD's for best BGM other than IR,MSV.

  You are wrong. If "Alaipayidhe"s disasters namely " Yaaro Yarrodi" or "Sepetmber Maadham" did not influenze MR to for better MDs, do you think MR will ever leave ARR! For that matter, neither will Shanker. All that they want is just ione good song from ARR for one movie. They will see to it that the audience gets carried away by that one song. In jeans, all songs except " Knannodu .. " and in Alaipaydhe, only "Snegithane" , Rest is trash. But still that talk of "Great music" by ARR. So, for Kann Muthh..., "Oru Deivam thandha Poove...is sufficient. That too , a few lines of pallavi alone are good. The charanam is simply inaudible.

  I don't quite get something.. why can't people listen to both IR and ARR and stay happy ? What is the blessed problem ? We, as an objective audience can vouch for the fact not all of IR's or ARR's compositions were mind-blowing.. the both had their hits.. and their flops.. so why can't we just love both their music ?!

  It is good that the Charanam is inaudible for the likes of Cheenu.
  If he likes it, it would spell disaster for decent music. Can you imagine a person of such taste appreciating ARR?
  
  If you call September maatham as disaster, what would you call the numerable recent IR forgettable collection of music instersperced with some words? Songs? I wouldn't call them that and set back TFM.

  Majority of HCIRFs are indecent.

  i propose this idea. from now onwards we will not pass personal comments such as "HCIRF" "HCARRF" etc.
  
  for eg. it is abvious cheenu is an idiot. but we dont have to brand him as HCIRF idiot or HCARRF idiot. A mere "idiot" should satisfy people like cheenu.
  
  There are a good lot of IR fans here who are sensible and give much greater points than many others. so in respect to those people it wud be correct not to drag words like "HCIRF" here.
  
  And common friend beware! each person has the right to make a fool out of himself. you are wrong in not allowing cheenu to excercise the right.

  one thing that i am missing is - why u all r pouncing on Cheenu..... i went thro his comments again and again, and i dont see any reason why u all are pouncing on him (i did not go behind the last post/this page)..... he said one song on all of those movies is really very good..... what am i missing here ?

  "pachai nirame" is not good.and then alaipayuthey was a decent album.
  
  in this world no one will stick to anyone for no reason. if ARR is non-profitable as cheenu says he is then MR, shankar wud have left him.
  
  alaipayuthey required songs to be good and ARR delivered. KM didnt require songs to be a high priority and so was pushed to the background (literally also).

  This guy makes an unwanted comment and u think tat all ARR fans r going after him.
  When someone made moronic comments against ARR's movies in the IR thread not too long ago and I posted a reply, u were one of the more than dozen people who "pounced" on me. So what does that make u? A Hypocrite? Wat's worse than someone like Cheenu posting ridiculous comments like this, is u coming along in support for him and pretending there is nothing wrong with what he said.

  1. garbage like u-know-who will vent their foul language.
  2. supposedly intelligent and seasoned posters will make their highly "analytical" comments expressing their frustration and disappointment at the decreasing quality of this forum (and keep repeating tis at appropriate times for the next 10 years).
  3. tigger will come along in full support of the foul-mouths and make PAs on the person who said this. And I can count on u to be there supporting him full on.
  
  So cut the crap and give me a break. if u cant see anything wrong with his post, it means one the following:
  1. u think someone is dumb enuf to believe u.
  2. u have eyesight problems.
