  devika's death real blow to all susheela sang most to devika execpt in one kannada film (janaki) and in bandhapasam ,idathil nee ,sumai thangi. there is a film called "desha drohulu"(telugu) ntr-devika,all songs are sung by janaki only one duet by susheela-ghantasala, song is "jagame marinadhi madhuramuga ee vela"

  I recall a film in Malayalam, named "Karuna" where she acted in the role of a prostitute who ultimately got corrected and moved to peace due to the great teachings of Lord Buddha. This was a movie where she performed excellently well and had set a trend in character acting.I still remember the film which I saw when I was in school. The person who acted as hero in that film in the role of "Upagupthan" also passed away sometime last year. Devika's daughter Kanaka is a great talent and has shown wonderful performance in many malayalam movies too. One typical example is Vietnam colony where she paired with Mohanlal.

  One of the most unforgetable one is Nenjil Oru Alayam.
