  naguma, once again i repeat hariharan is no match for spb in any aspects. whether melody,gallatta,aattam,sogam,etc,etc spb is such a versatile singer it is impossible to think of any other singer who has matched spb's versatility and voice. listen to spb's songs right from 1960's till star, the variety he has given is unbelievable. hariharan, though sings well, is somewhat monotonous and he is at best in t he company of mukesh,pbs,mannadey,alraghavan ,am raja, jesudas to name a few. Among the new comers, hariharan is the best of the lot.

  okie guys..where was i...
  well hmm ARR fans couldnt identify his trade mark...whats a sad site..well listen to the song it actually listen ..the soong maintains a monotonous enigma beat ..which rehman if he used it so effectively in the song "ennai kannavillaye" wouldnt have allowed it to further drag and loose tempo...
  ARR trademark....the bass guitar ...boy where did it go....could nt find a trace of it in the song ..which for this song he cud have masterminded in orchestra....(we will actually get back to it)....
  then arr rehman doesnt actually compose a s.a.rajkumar type of melody... barrinbg his really slow songs ..the melodies are difficult to catch in the furst try which apparently the song manages to catch ..but goes haywire in the stanza ...
  rehamn wouldnt start a song ...like the way its done here...and the orchestration and mixing arent upto his mark...
  
  well getting back to the point...i mentioned before... kieth peters lives in my street...he is the bassist for ARR... i confirmed it from him....
  well raycas... know not what thee write...hath u could have queried or rather kept mum...
  mum's the word raycas..it actually pays to listen ... er if u knew what i meant ..alas
  and somebody said why would nt SABESH MURALI USE ARR'S BGM..
  why is HJ being pulled into....cmon guys he is knew....he has had its hits and he is only two films old...lets give some time ..before we pass the judgemnents...
  hello please ARR takes months to compose a song ...and u expect him to actually sit thru a movie composing a bgm for a movie for which he has recycled his songs...

  Hey Member raja musical whatever you are....
  You have failed to mention that Roja was a mega hit!!! It was one of the few movies that got recognised all over india!!!!
  Who said that Alaipayuthey was average. Sorry to burst your bubble but alaipayuthey was one of the hits of 2000.
  Uyire and Thirdu and thrida were a flop (i agree with you) but their songs were a super duper hit!!! And i dont think raja's music would have changed their fate at the box office.
  
  What about Anjali, thalapathy they were both done by raja but they were just average. What happened there?????
  
  I am no raja hater nor rahman lover.Raja was at his best in your above mentioned movies. I'm just a person who loves music. But i cant stand it if someone makes remarks like this.

  This site is a "BIG JALRA" for RAJA'S family.
  It is a big biased site ignoring talents of others.
  A.R.R is known to all over india. But Raja is not.
  (It does not mean Raja is equal or unequal to
  great Raja)
  Without talent no one can achieve this stature.
  Better be a neutral.

  Yes, I did not actually intended to say majority. I know Majority here are balanced lot. But, tell me how well could I have made an impact with my posting. Try, to understand what that Gentleperson wanted to say. I was a bit annoyed and I wanted to point out a big fingure at him. I knew, if I say some think like majority or most of IR fans, some body will react by which case I can put forth my point.
  
  Due to people like MEMBER - RAAJA MUSIC UNIVERSAL and others in both the sides, moderate ones also get branded. Sorry, if I had hurt U personally.

  Raja is a Genius, no compare to that. ARR probably does not seem to find time with him or he is a very sharp business man (hats off to that). He composes music in Tamil and uses the same songs in Hindi and One big hit for a Hindi film and uses it for tamil movies (this needs talent in-a-sense to sell in both worlds), or what has happened to the world?
  I dont know there is a great deal of repetition all over the place which really hurts. I remember days when for a diwali, 8 out of 10 movies released would have Gnani as MD and almost all the songs will be different and big hits.. May be i am biased, but i feel that 5 songs per movie on an average for 8 movies which makes it 40 songs is great to any respect. In this Gnani stands apart.
  About Thalapathy: who cannot admire rakamma kaiya thattu (with all those violins), sundari kannal oru seidhi. still i can hear the lyrics and appreciate the music. Dont ever say they are average....

  All I hear is how ARR has taken TFM to a whole new plane of music.All he has done is taken the culture out of our music and made it a western fiasco.ARR has completely demolished the wonderful world of TFM that was and has brought it to a state of discord.
  Everybody is going on about how ARR has done such a great feat,but I feel he has done the ultimate njustice to TFM. ARR has spoiled how TFM used to be in the days when traditional music filled with our culture and heritage was in movies.
  We are Tamilians and we should be proud of our culture and our music.Do you see wastern culture appreciating our music the way that we do theirs?
  Western music is for western cultures.
  I say out with ARR and HJ and in with IR,VS,SAR and YSR(In Nandha)
  Please lets have some pride in our classical and traditional music and promote it for the great invention that it is,rather than looking to a pasture,which is in my opinion,not greener at all.
  I want to hear music like IR's 80's hits sung by good quality singers,with traditional instruments and musical scoring.
  Please guys lets get a grip of the supposed phenomenon.
