Guys,

Manmadhan, the album is coming this month. I have seen couple of previews of this movie, I was impressed with the backgound music. I hope the songs will be Mounam Pesiyathe-like.

I think saraNam of 'ye puLLa' song (kaathal vaLarththaen) is a ditto of 'iru kaNkaL sollum' from Kaathal Samrajyam !

Another bad thing in this song is, singer selection - KK is supposed to be good in tamil pronounciation - But he is very very bad in this song (and in 'ninaiththu ninaiththu' from 7/G) with his tamil

I think a kadal should come and take away all the 'thamil' singers, and a new generation should come !

IMO, KK is acceptable in those two songs you mentioned.

I was expecting some instrumental tracks in the album which came out earlier in the previews, one instrumental track and one with female singing 'what's gonna happen'. Disappointed, hopefully they release them later :(

Guys,

The starting piano rolls of the song Manmadhane Manmadhane are from the background score of Tehzeeb- note to note.. ( To be more specific its in the scene where Shabana Azmi accepts Dia Marza as her sibling and offers to take her home). The string passage before seems to be inspired from the bgm of Kaadhalar Dhinam.

Very sad that Yuvan had to do this.... But still I think he has great potential to go ahead...IMHO..

j/k My vote too goes to Kadhal Valarthaen. but somehow it sounds part of 4 different songs or like different pieces. low pitched middle parts of the song are really nice singing by KK.

thathai thathai and mahire are class . vanamunna is a foot tapping number.rest are ok.
yuvan is proving that he has muvh better potential than other mds like vidyasagar and harris.

yuvan is talented but vidyasagar is an etablished musicdirector (tamil,telugu,malayalam and stepping into hindi with kulchal)he has done done music for over 100 movies.

yuvans songs are very noisy they sound like remixes more than songs.
