IR's new albums!

  More and more IR fans are in the process of becoming "Genuine". So many criticisms subjugated when "Kasi" was unveiled as many IR fans, nevertheless jumped into criticisms for making HH to sing all the songs. (Mookaale paadaraarnnu sonneenga. Avar Uchathle suthi thapputhunnu sonneenga.) The songs became mega hit among the public despite criticisms from fellow IR fans. Off-late, they stood the in the liking que and when next movie songs were released they started criticizing with an attuned tone "Kasi was better than this".. this trend is becoming more and more all the rage. I don't mean one should like everything. But it is not good to stick to the above said attitude as it is more to do with personality. Anyway, interesting to see.

  If EMV becomes a major hit, I will be in ecstasy -after all I am a very very big fan of IR.
  
  Kaasi migavum arumayaga irundathu. Kannukkul nilavu, Kathal sathi, sethu, hey ram ellam super songs.
  
  may be I am missing IR's magic in EMV. I will give a second try,

  the speciality of IR's songs is that they captivate the listeners after the first time itself. so ur 40 time rule is definitely wrong...
  but no one can deny the lack of freshness in his recent songs (like mel toppile from ivann).....
  
  it is not a question of being genuine... i am not IR's fan because I hate ARR or anybody .... it is because I grew up with his evergreen melodies.
  
  i sometimes cannot believe if it is the same IR. it is like a present day Brian lara ....
  
  anyway I am happy that u like IR this much.

  Vem,
  IR consistantly gave good songs but we did not listen to them or give a patient listening I suppose. Ivan, Kaathal Saathi, EMV are all beautiful albums. Devan, Aandaan Adimai are average kind of albums though each of them got some great songs.

  It is human tendency to compare. I am sure Vem will like them ultimately and then he will change his mind but by then he will be comparing albumX with EMV saying EMV is better :-)>

  I ran across this Ilayaraja Radiostation on Google search. It is hosted on Live365 and it has loads of wonderful BGM tracks.
  I have heard it for an hour and almost half of the time it was playing his BGMs. Though this is a telugu radio station, it has BGMs from many Tamil Dubbed movies. People who like IR's BGMs can check this out.

  I want the audio song 'KaNNe navamaNiyee' from 'En Bommukkutti Ammaavukku', This is not present in the original cassette I have or the CD ...
  
  Anybody has this song as a mp3 / real audio atleast ?
  
  One more help - If you have the original audio cassette released before the movie ... can you pls mail me ? I want to know the lyricst for some of the songs ...

  the reason i compared Kasi with EMV is that
  1. same director.
  2. i found IR's list of trash songs increasing movie after movie. when a new movie comes, it sounds so bad that we tend to think the previous one itself was better..... it means his class or his TFM interest is coming down steadily.
  
  i see that many of you people like EMV very much.
  if you really like it, it is great.
  else, there is no point in listening for 50 times and force ourselves to like it.
  
  i guess my interest is still in the 80's IR types... may be that is the reason I could never tolerate other MDs in TFM (except MSV)....

  STS I perfectly agree with you? Vem I'm listening to EMV just not beacuse of being a HCIRF. EMV has the classic IR touch. Infact I liked EMV songs equal to or more than Kaasi. The same goes with Kaathal Saathi songs. It'z been almost an year I started listening to Kaathal Saathi songs.

  sorry to chase u here also, does soundforge help to just remove music clips of the BGMs without dialogues?
  Is there a trial version of the software?
  Also please give me some pointers to slice the interludes and preludes of the songs, I want to compile some of the great interludes and preludes of IR, ur help is highly appreciated. If it is ok I can communicate with u thro' email to avoid digression.
  By the way " En Mana Vaanil" songs are definitely very good ( an ardent fan of IR ) except one or two songs, "Unnai thedi" is just fantastic , I am just recovering from my addiction to " oliyile" of Azhagi, imagine one more gem to get u addicted again, it reminded me the knannada song" Aene kelu koduve ninage naaneega" from "Geetha" movie...just amazing ....all IR fans must listen to this song
  "Kuthu Kuthu" sounds like the " Ninaivellam nitya" song "Kannipulle...something"

  prabhudas i think soundforge is a software which you can use to remove wide range of noises. I was using "thiruttu" copy. suddenly it stopped working. i used it for filtering.. i think in demo version you cannot save.. may be download it and test if it is possible.

  watched ivann yesterday. very good to see PArthiban picturizing the evils of our incorrigible society. I really wonder how the movie will fare commercially (since it almost resembles frustration of Parthi and his party - like Varumai niram sigappu).
  Songs (thoolu, appadi) have been shot well.
  
  Can anyone please let me know how IVANN is performing in TN.... It is a samudaya vizipunarchi padam and a must see movie.
