  Hrishi: Please look in the Raga thread, we've been discussing this. I guess I class it as Basanth, because of the Hindustani bits, which have a few extra notes....As for the part in Muthu, I don't remember it....I'll try and see it again and take note of the BGM. Anjaare Jeeva is in Sivaranjani indeed. Thanks for pointing it out.
  
  I too have heard good things about Taal, beat of passion. Sivamani has done a solo in it, which I'm really looking forward to.
  
  Also, I saw the video of ARR's Dubhai concert last night. It's quite impressive, with SPB, Kavitha, Hari e.t.c... If I'm not mistaken, you're related to Anupama aren't you? She was on it too. It was really nice how they started with Oruvan Oruvan in Tamil and how Sivamani gave the entrance drumming.
  
  Andi mazlai really is a master-piece, agreed. I feel that the Hindustaani bit there sung by TVG is also quite Basanth sounding, however the rest of the song is pure Vasantha.
