What do you say about Swarnalatha

I think, Swarnalatha is really very versatile singer in TFM. But her voice is not used taht much by the MDs of TFM. I think Ilayarajaa gave her good chances, then it was A.R.Rehaman. Her songs like - Poovoma Oorgholam, Thirumana Malarghal are really good.
I request the Real Music lovers who have heard the songs of Swarnalatha to reply to this thread about her songs and career. I also request you guys to talk about her songs in KFM, MFM,TeFm also.

  Ravi, I only tried to list songs of Swarnalatha, which have been missed out or which have not been mentioned in the above postings.
  
  "Ennulle" and "Unnai Thottu" have already been mentioned. That's the reason, that I did not mention them.
  
  Now when I went up the pages and saw, I come to know that "Andhiyile Vaanam Thanthanathom Podum..." has been mentioned as "Chandrirare Vaarum Sundariya Thaarum".
  
  I thought that this song was not mentioned and hence I included in my list.
  
  Now two more songs, I will mention, which have not been mentioned henceforth.
  
  1."Unnai Edhir Paarthaen..." from "Vanaja Girija" with SPB in the music of IR.
  
  2."Mellisayae En Idhayathin Innisayae..." from "Mr. Romeo" in the music of ARR.
  
  3. "Aey Shabaa Aey Shabaa Adacha Kadhavu Thirakkaadhaa" with Mano from "Karnaa" in the music of Vidyasagar.
  
  4. "Hello Chellaya; Un Lover Naanaya..." with SPB in the same film "Karnaa"
  
  5. "Lucky Lucky ..." in "Ratchagan", I suppose
  
  6. "Akkada nu Naanga..." from "Indian" in the music of ARR.
  
  My intention was and is to bring out the songs of Swarnalatha, which not many people would have heard and still good songs.
  
  "Solli Vidu Velli Nilave" from "Amaithi Padai"
  "Anbae Engal Kalyana Kadhai Keladi" from "Aanazhagan" and
  "Kaatu Kuyil Paatu Cholla; Veetu Kili Kettu Kolla..." from "Chinna Maapillai" are all melodious songs, but not many people would have heard of.
  
  For example, if you take, "Chinna Maapillai" everybody would have heard the beautiful song "Kaathoram Lolakku Kadha Solludhaya" by Mano and SJ.
  
  Chances are there that they might not have heard the "Kaatu Kuyil Paatu Cholla; Veettu Kili Kaettu Kolla..." which too is a good song.
  
  My intention was and is towards bringing out these songs.
  
  By-the-By, "Naan Eri Karai Melirindhu" with KJY is also a good one.

  kumarr, thanks! That was a nice list. Infact the "Solli vidu velli nilave" is such a wonderful song with an amazing BGM. Wonder why that song never figured in the movie though the BGM finds its place in many scenes.
