Who is This Rajesh?

Did anyone of u guys listen to 'Ra Ra Raja kumara' from Ennavale by SAR? At first, I thought it was SPB Charan, who has a youthful SPB voice, but found out at Raaga.com, that its sung by someone called Rajesh. I felt he is trying to emulate SPB style of singing. But nevertheless, has a sweet voice...anyone has info on him?

  Guys, dont know if this is the right place to ask this but sometime back i heard a Kannada song in Radiocity ...I think it was from H2O ( might eb wrong here) but it sounded so much like SPB.. Dunno it might be this rajesh but it had corny lyrics where lots of country names like AUSTRALIA were mentioned... Can neone throw some light on this song and the singer.. It has a very nice melodious feel to it....

  That song is sung by SPB only. It starts like I wanna kiss my darling, I wanna hug my darling, i wanna aaaha my darling.
  It contains all counry names and some parts of karnataka like mandya, kalasipalaya(bangalore) etc.

  illeppa,i don't know much about the song except that it was picturised on Upendra in the film H20&it was typical of him-jazzy clothes,funky dance movements etc.
  
  Infact as far as Kannada songs are concerned it's very difficult to say who's singing because everyone sounds like SPB.

  The song in H20 is very much by Rajesh.
  This movie and album were dubbed in tamil as Kaveri. for some reason the music director "Sadhu Kokila" was not credited in kaveri. Instead it had the name of "M Bharani".
  
  And the song.. I want to kiss my darling.. was credited as SPB in tamil.. when it was Rajesh.

  Oh, that was his gift and his curse!
  He really excells SPB in some songs and makes us long for that young SPB pf the '80's. At the same time, since he reminds us of SPB most of the Tamil MD's don't want to use him. It's a pity.
  But, he is still very popular in Kannada films. May be 'Ferrari' can throw more light on this!

  Rajesh has sung over 2500 songs in Kannada films since 1991 , and is currently the leading male playback singer.
  
  Cinefan: guess u haven't heard much kannada songs recently.. Hemanth, Ramesh Chandra, LN Sastry, Chetan and a whole lot of new comers are singing.. and none of them sound like SPB.
  
  as someone said earlier in the post.. some songs of Rajesh surpass the SPB Versions of the same song in the same movie. The song "Prema chandrama" from Yajamaana (re-make of vaanattai pola) is one example..
  
  We broadcast majority of his songs on our radio.. www.kannadaaudio.net, very soon we will feature Rajesh and play all his songs an entire day..(we did that for BR Chaya and Shankar Mahadevan last week)

  I heard Rajesh Sing. He is a awesome singer and he has his own class and style. Its not fair to compare him to SPB and pf course he can sing SPB's songs as good as SPB :-). In fact I listed to him singing all kinds of song ( songs from other singers). He does have his own awesome style. He is very talented and he is going to have a very bright feature.
