Is YSR the new ARR?

It has been mentioned on more than one occasion that YSR is the MD who will take ARR's place. YSR has produced many hit albums lately using new, fresh and funky styles of music. I believe that this statement has been proved by Yuvan after Dheena, Rishi and Thulluvatho Ilamai. When compared to ARR's recent Thenali and Star we can see that YSR has taken the lead in this race to be the best. YSR has been signed for many new and exciting projects so I can see that he will be the block in ARR's attempt to regain his position as No.1 in TFM.
What are your thoughts on this?

  There are things I wish to clarify...
  1. The MD i was talking abt and abt telug fm, for Gods Sakes, is not ilayaraja. Its, if u didnit get the idea, SA Rajkumar.

  Well, a few things to clarify
  2. As i see this hindi-tamil-hindi stuff, its not recycling at all.. Thats what I wanted to emphasize.. Sorry if my usage of the word 'recycling' had misled you. I believe its not rahman, but the producers and directors who insist on this kind of remaking. Maybe, time is a factor. Or maybe, it will work out cheap for them to do this than to get a new album. I just speculate why they do it.
  Again, this is not recycling..tamil-hindi is different..The audience are entirely different.. Recycling is for eg.. a BG piece in Sooryavamsham became Innisai Padi Varum in the SA rajkumars' next movie.

  I am ignorant that innisai was remade from 'thendral' as u have mentioned. However, it does feature as BGM in Sooryavamsam movie. As to that, i am sure.

  but havent got a proper opening or break as HJ or ARR had,wonder he will ever get those breaks!?
  Though his music is improving with every score.
  Recently Thulluvatho Illamay is the best example of his improved methods

  I too feel that Nandhaa will prove YSR to be a great MD in his own right. He also has Manathai Thirudivittai coming out soon. He just needs to get a good film to work with his music. YSR has produced quality music, but his songs haven't featured in good movies, which is his downfall. Hopefully Nadha will put him in his rghtful place as a great MD :)

  YSR = Very promising and upcoming young (probably youngest) MD. Why? Dheena did extremely well and Thulluvatho Ilamai is superb.

  I think Nandha is releasing for Dipaavali so the audio will be maybe a month before that. Also Manathai Thirudivittai featuring p.susheela singing her last song before retiring will be released this month.

  G Maurathi You seem to have taken it upon yourself to visit every YSR thread and post you r unsubstantiated views.If you believe that YSR is a xerox copy, can you please quote of what he is a copy?Idhu Kadala is a garage track which is a little known style of music from U.K. What you maybe don't realise is that, all garage tracks sound similiar due to their same beats.Musically, i have to disagree that YSR has copied anything.You claim that YSR is a Xerox like Deva but you can't even name 1 song that YSR has copied because he hasn't copied anything. If theres one thing YSR deserves immense credit for, it is his originality in his music.You don't hear music that has been heard before.

  Well, I just wanna answer to the main thread question. ARR's latest album maybe, Thenali and Star in tamil, but Lagaan which is making WAVEZ all over the world, and a few other albums as well are doing pretty good. So, YSR may become the King of TFM MD's.. but ARR will be King of Indian Film Music... unless YSR does some neat stuff. And YSR has a lot of potential, the guy made some awesome albums my favourite Poovellam Kettupar. But he does lack a bit of originality, I mean there's this one song from Rishi the beginning is exactly like one of IR's songs. And there are quite a few others that resemble his father's music.

  that we got a colorful response from the audience
  which was upto ur expectation... the fact is that
  everyone paid their hearts or even souls to the
  beats... and what we did is just induced their
