Singers not used by A R Rahman for a long time now.

Hello friends, A R Rahman seems to call singers to sing his compostions on a seasonal basis. 3-4 years back, he used to use singers like; Anuradha Sriram, Anupama, Devan Ekambaram, Sriram Parthasarathy, Sukhwinder Singh, K J Jesudas, M G Sreekumar, Latha Mangeshkar, Suresh Peters, Vaishali, Ranu Mukherjee and many others. Especially Anuradha Sriram, Devan and Anupama are not used by him these days at all. The last song sung by Anuradha Sriram for Rahman is "Isq Bina, from Taal, I think.

A R Rahman's recent favourites include T K Karthik, Sreenivas, Thipu, Shankar Mahadevan and a couple of new singers.

I think Rahman can start using Devan, Harish Raghavendra, Sriram Parthasarathy and Anuradha Sriram.

  did you guys notice that karthik is arr's latest fave singer??he has sung at least 1 song in arr's albums..
  and after using karthik,arr seldom uses srinivas...

  Very nice thread yaar.
  Anuradha Sriram once commented in an interview that ARR does not exploit the voice of a singer instead does everything in the computer .
  Thats the end of it.Since then no songs were given to her.
  Coming to Anupama she is still in the harmony group of ARR.Does not get much chance for songs bcoz her voice does not suit for the normal duets or solo numbers

  i would love to see ARR use IR for one of his songs....the sheer thrill that IR singing for ARR will make the song a gr8 hit......and let him stop using Sadhana sargam, her voice and tamil are really irritating......

  Anupama - the last song she sung for ARR is from "Santhipoma" from E20u18
  
  Anuradha Sriram - The Lagaan theme starts with a melodious female humming and the voice behind the humming is Anuradha, even her name is there in the credits in the Cd. Anuradha sriram voice will suit for melodies but i don't know why she is not getting melody numbers. One of my all time favorite is "Anbendra mazhayilae" from Minsara kanavu, the song wil only voice with minimal usage of instruments, a soul strirring devotional, i think she can do any kind of song but she is getting to prove her prowess
  
  Devan - Signore song sung by Devan in KM, but devan is often used by Vidhyasagar and Yuvan
  
  Harish Ragavendra- He is most lucky singer as of now, all the songs that he sings becomes a hit.
  God only knows why ARR didn't give him a song yet,
