sp mahendra ir is not going to work with shankar as he has signed ARR so has barathyraja for tajmahal(this is his last film) Vikraman said he will never dump sa rajkumanr, manirathnam is nolonger going to work in amil films he said he is going 90% north and ARR is always his and ARR has a special rate for MANIrathnam.
But ir is md for cherans next film
for fazil he is using a malayale md

This is a tit-bit info I got from the journal devi.There was an interview with prashant by the guy mannaru (not our T Ganesan!!!).In that prashant had mentioned that his next movie is not athisayam but some "kaadhal....".
But IR is the MD for sure.I think this is what u r most interested in .aren't u ????

Latest News.....!

Director Seeman is sign IR for his next tamil movie titled "Vaikai Karai Oram".Bhagharaj also work together with our IR for a tamil movie starring Vijay.Vikraman also want to sign IR for his next movie after "Unnidatil Ennai Koduthen".

I got all of this information from "Movie Land" magazine...!Can anybody confirm about this news?

The MD for unnidathil ennai koduthen is SAR.
Vikraman has got a lousy sentiment that his movie will be a hit if the MD is SAR

I don't know about the sentiment aspect. But
certainly, his choice of SAR is not at all
lousy. SAR is an excellent MD. From what I hear,
unnidaththil ennai koduththEn is a
pleasing light-hearted movie that has become a
hit in TamilNadu. I haven't heard any of its
songs however.

ur interpretation of " lousy sentiment" is wrong.If u notice, I have mentioned the sentiment as lousy and not the MD. ;-))
Yes , the movie is indeed a hit and it seems to have a good screenplay.
But, IMO, SAR doesn't have a role in success of Vikraman's movies.The story and screenplay r good and that's the reason for the success of his movies.

Don't talk about SAR at here.This one only for our Maestro Illaiyaraja.I think IR is the music director for Vikraman next tamil movie news.IR is also score music for P.Vasu tamil movie titled "Malabar Police".

I have been a regular,silent visitor of tfmpage/DF for the past few months.. some time back i saw a thread called "IR's GURU".. suddenly it is missing.. I need a help..
I am in Madras. Can anyone tell me where in madras i can get the audio album of IR's GURU ( I mean the cassette not the CD ). i am talking about the malayalam movie that is an oscar nominee.. would appreciate the help.

It seems Raja has put-in special effort for the

this is the response about the film produced by ashok amirtharaj., directed by agathiyan., starring prashanth & MDed by IR.the film's name is 'kaadhal kavithai' - not 'athisayam'.i read this info in some book but could not remember its name. sorry.

Guys,

I happend it listen to Ponnu Veetukaran.
This album sounds good.

The music is like Raja's Early 90's and late 80's.
There are 6 songs out of which 5 male solos.
SPB - 2
Hariharan - 1
Mano - 1
IR -1
The songs by hariharan and SPB are good.
There is only one duet in this movie(Surprising isn't it) sung by Srinivas and Bhava).
Srivas sound really good in this song.

Good buy for IR Fans.
The recording is excellent.
This movie starts Sathyaraj and is directed by p.vasu.

Dear IR fans

Has anybody seen the Documentary "Minsara Pookal" shown on SUN t.v. on 15th August. This is
a 3 minute documentary on Indian Women. This had BGM score by our great meastro Raja. I had heard from 3 or 4 magazines that the bgm score was outstanding and mesmerising. This documentary was directed by daughters of S.V.Ramanan

I'm dissapointed with 'Ponnu Veetu Kaaran' which has only one average song song by HH and IR himself.
The song is Nandavanamey..
IR's 'Uravugal' is disapointing too.

Has anybody heard the songs from "Manam Virumbuthe Unnai " (Prabhu film) which was released two days back. I saw the cassette cover
and it had 3 songs by Hariharan. Hope Raja would have given nice songs.(but i did not hear). Please give ur reviews
