Then SPB gave a small talk in telugu and was all praise of ARR.. he compared ARR to Sachin...He said "Sachin never speaks...his bat does the talking...in the same way ARR never speaks...his music does all thr talking!!!!!"

  I agree 200% with what SPB said. I think he has just reflected the general opinion prevailing in the music industry as also music lovers.

  I have great regards to SPB. He is a man of all times. So gentle, so generous. Even when he lies, he does it so aptly. "Poyya Sonnalum, Porundha Sollanum". Just becuase it will do a lot good to ARR's ego, SPB has told like this. There is no harm in this statement. I would like to quote the following Tirukkural:

  this is what you told in 1992 after Roja. Now where is ARR? TFM has been taken over by Vidhya Saagars, Devas and HJs. People who respect quality are still behind IR.
  
  ARR, like a politician , is running live shows just to announce to the world that he is still there and let not people forget him. He is awaiting chances. That's why he is running a concert in Chennai itself.
  
  The greatest contribution of ARR is introducing Udit Narayanan and through him hit the last nails in the coffin of good music in TFM.

  Unlike Ilayaraka, ARR is respectable and does not deny other people their chances.
  IR was greedy and it took a PUYAL to gust him over.
  ARR is in high demand and asked to do concerts.
  Even a poor dog does not want IR to do kalyaana katcheris. Sad, but true.

  ARR conquered the Tamil film world, reigned the Hindi Music world and has set his foot into West End musical. Do you still want him to do local films...Man he is an international star. Unlike some genius, who is just like a Kurunila mannan..afraid to go beyond the borders.
