Emotional compliments and Jealous or derogatory remarks

TMS, Vani Jayaram are notorious for their negative remarks on IR. Even we hear that KR passed some comments on ARR. I have read the frontline article where Naushad, HPChaurasia, L Vaidyanathan showered praises upon IR. In this thread, can we get to know all of those compliments, jealous and negative comments of various artistes on other various artistes. It will be interesting for those who do not the full content of what was said and when said.

  " I was offered to sing in telugu and kannada because I had sung in "Sinthu Bhairavi". The reason my voice has spread throughout South India is because of Raja sir's music.
  
  Once I had to sing for Raja sir so I went to AVM studio. I opened the door and entered. As Raja sir raised his arm in the silent hall, the entire troupe started to play "Happy Birthday to Chitra". He found out from someone that it was my birthday that day(July 27). I was totally astonished, shocked, suprised. This respect that Raja sir showed to little girl who worked for him, in my opinion, is something that will make me impressed,(Can't remember the right english word, in tamil it is "Silirka"} throughout my life.

  In a recent interview to a tamil weekly, when Vijay was asked the controversial question
  "Ilaiyaraajaavaa..?? Rehmaanaa..??",
  Vijay's answer was
  "Evergreen Ilaiyaraaja.. ( maatta vachuttingannu nenaikkaren.. !! )".

  About an year back, i remember reading in Kumudham/vikatan, an article in which TV fame Pepsi-Uma had mentioned..

  With regard to Kamal Hassan making that impressed claim on IR's symphony, has he listened to it in the first place? Why is the symphony so cryptic and hidden, in any case?

  GV played 'Raakamma' from Thalapathy to a few sound engineers from Philips. After listening, those guys were amazed at the quality of sound mixing and commented, 'couldn't have done any better'

  Ask GV now. He would tell a diff. story. GV being a marketing guy to the core, was trying to get all the publicity necessary for Dalapathy.
