  s.p.mahendran, we are all IR Fans, but we don't need to bring in other music directors here...this thread is unique (has been), in the sense that it has largely stayed away from petty comparisons...thats not the purpose of the thread anyway :-)...all in my humble opinion, as a regular frequent visitor to this thread :-)..hope people will agree.

  IR and CAPTAIN have given so many hits -
  Their first song "Ullamellam thalladuthe" in Thoorathu idimuzhakkam is an all time hit. Lovely rendition from Yesudoss. After that they gave amman koil kizhakkaale, vaidehi kathirundhal and nooravadhu naal. Lets hope this movie to be a massive hit !!!

  Very well (as expected) written by Kamal, esp. "SeTHa Pillaigal Ethanayo!". One thing I noticed was he started out praising IR and then slowly addresses himself as one of the kuzhandhai and from then on, it was a mixture of subtle self-praise and praise of IR.
  
  Of course, I am not trying to be too much like a lawyer - just wanted to point out something that was not totally unexpected from Kamal.
