  What I meant by the phrase "matching International standards" was that he has scored in a organized way with the instruments, notes getting mixed with the screen in a perfect way and evokes the right king of feeling. On following the BGM you will understand that he has written the score arranged it with the apt instruments , their modulation etc .. and conducted it with the right timing.
  
  Still some of the nuances eep ringing in my ear.
  
  That too when the place where vikram is treated for his mental ill ness is shown Raaja's score creates a kind of heavy heart in you. With no dialogues in that sequence only Raajas music and the camera have given life to the whole sequence.
  
  One more place is the climax when the situation suddenly changes from a happy one to sad one .
  
  Raaja has aptly used the pathos with a famous Bharathiar poetrie's starting line Vaarthai Thavari Vittai En Kannama Marbhu Thudikutadi
  
  I will keep writing about this. The movie is a hit with house full shows for the third week.
  
  Without stardom and publicity the Sethu team has achieved. Raaja should work with more such teams and give wonderful BGMS. May god bless him

  I believe that you have expressed your own character justly in the first two lines. First of all, one doesn't need to be acclaimed internationally to be a genius or even outside of TN for that matter. After all, we all know just how many 'geniuses' there are outside of TN. Is there any other MD in the whole of South India that has reached his hieghts? Excuse me, I know nothing about MD's besides those of the south, nor do I care to. If you are blind or handicapped enough mentally to not be able to acknowledge the fact that he is certainly a genius then that is a problem that need not be discussed in this thread. I am sure that you would be a fan of the likes of Deva and Anu Malik. Anyway, to end, you have no right to evaluate such a man. Evaluate his music neutrally, but not him. Nobody has the right to evaluate him.
