hey,
did u people notice that most of the messages by people who post those typical crap messages like now from this new guy 'member...' are written in capital letters?
u remember how once some guy wrote this ridiculous message about some conspiracy between ARR and some terrorists? this guy also used capital letters...
funny how craps are always the same...

Classician,
u seem to be someone of the older generation (no, please don't think i'm insulting u or whatever)...cause the way u spoke sounded really like my father's generation, who is complaining about all the modern elements of music nowadays...to much 'noise' he says...
but i don't complain about ur wish...if u like IR's 80's hits...then okay, no problem...
but don't forget there are a lot of kids and youngsters and others who want to 'move on'...to the styles of an ARR and hj and so on...and there are a lot of people like them, otherwise ARR and HJ wouldn't be successful, isn't it?
well, well...

hmmm .... suddenly it has changed yet again to ARR vs IR war..... guys get a life ... why do u guys compare these two great personalities...
agreed IR is a musical genius....but ARR is not far behind man... the thing like" ARR is not like IR" arguement doesnt hold good.. if he did compose the same like him then u would throw an accusation "ARR is same like IR ..he copying him" ... there is no way you can compare these two people..they have both earned the respect of millions of fans.. if IR enchanted the tfm with his mellifluous numbers... ARR does it in his style... he is a hit with youngsters..whether he will stand the test of time will have to be seen... we should be proud of him.. he made the north look at the south with more respect..in fact men like.. SANTOSH SIVAN..SABU CYRIL..THOOTTHARINI..RAJU SUNDRAM..RAVI K CHNADRAN all deserve a pat on their back for their technical wizardry...ARR has much to learn..i am sure he will...just that i am pained becos of this recyling thing..thats all... i wish he had a mind of his own and act accordingly...

Osaka Muraya - other than these 2 words, does this song have anything in common with the one in The Lion King (part I)? Can anyone clarify?

alli arjuna was a let down after the fabulous (at least three songs of) parthAlE paravacam. is it a remake of some cheap hindi movie? many songs reminded me of older songs and some wcm compositions (very famous ones; i will let others figure them out :-) ). rOjA solladi was the only saving grace. all imnvho :-)

pained why not,
u are not the only one who thinks like that...but forget it, u are not going to have a bit of a success...this i guarantee...not in this tfmpage forum...never ever...
raycas
p.s.: don't think i like this ir-arr comparison...i hate it, and have told it more than once before...but the people here just love it, and we both can't do anything against it...this is a sad fact.

I think Ilayaaraja fans are jealous of A.R.Rahman.
Just because arr is gr8 composer and overtake IR.
Why r IR fans in A.r.rahman new release forum?

Ilayaraaja is No1 copycat in the business.A lot of his 80's song are copied from 50's english song.Eg. Hello ,wrong number.
He sounds repetitive with his DAPANGUTHE music.
But now he try to change his DAPANGUTHE style to ARR style. But he failed...
Poor Ilayaaraaja and his fans...

does anyone know why the lagaan theme song and the one two ka four title song is added to the songs of alli arjuna in tamilmp3world.com?
do they really belong to the film? (cause in the initial songlist published these 2 numbers were missing...)

Hey StoneCold,
I surely think, u dont want to face reality that IR has great amounts of originality... there were a few western numbers, which were popularized by the great GNANI. You just dont go about saying anything against the only SOUTH ASIAN (or ASIAN) to do a symphony....
Watch carefully what u say. this place is not a justification of who is great, ARR is different in his own style and IR is different in his own style... so please...
Probably u have not watched Hey Ram, Kazhugu, ( and i can keep the list going)..

raycas,
sorry dude ,I missed your pun, I thought you were being serious. With all this fresh IR vs ARR comparison war (courteasy Oracle) on again, I guess I freaked. Kraftwerk is a german band which got famous for the computer like techno beats (similar to Roja's songs)

My brother too bought AA's cassette. What prompted him..I don't know. I just told him what others feel in TFM page and ARR group. I did not expect him to buy one.
Now, I feel that what he did was right. Need not have wasted Rs. 55. I could have recorded it with less price. But, with very little ARR's offerings this year, spending on AA does not seem to me as a wrong one.
Even though, I had already listened to all the hindi versions a N number of times some 2 - 3 years before, I still like the SPB (at his ease) and chitra's number.
Seems that songs will pickup very well after the films release and does well.
But, nothing great to say that its an ARR's offering. you can still enjoy it.

The song Sollayo Solaikkili, resembles the IR's Song "Inge naan kanden kalai nayaki" from Sathanai Movie and another old no. "Kallellam manikka" . Is ARR modernising all the 80's songs in to latest r&B Style ???

Hello All,
I am an IR fan, but I respect and appreciate any good music, who ever it is from.
Iam checking out the recent days movies with music from ARR. I feel he is going in the right way. There are some mistakes he is doing, is it because of his attitude, I don't know.
It looks like he is not caring about TFM, may be he thinks, he can strike rich in Hindi movies, which will not be possible because, the Hindi movie has lots of politics, they will even bring up Junk Anu Malik but not others, so is the hindi listener's taste, I personally feel that they do not have a good taste of music.
Also he thinks he can make big in London, where they obviously won't respect him (personally I do not think he has reached that great heights at this point of time, he should have waited for some more time). Making Music for Michael Jackson, is total nonsense, he would care a damn about ARR.
ARR was well off in TFM, which gave him life and fame and every thing, but he is just giving some dubbed song from hindi, and careless music (eg. Star, PP, AA) I think if he continues this he will go down soon. It is high time he wakes up and starts back to TFM, with real interest.
