  I heard one kadhal kavidai song on the net ! Though the quality of the recording was'mnt good, i felt the song to be decent !

  Here is a detailed review of Kadhal Kavidhai
  
  First of all it really took some time for me before I write this review as I got my casette almost a week back but I need to listen many times to appreciate the score. Though the album didn't impress me first time, now I ENJOY VERY MUCH, ALL THE SONGS
  
  Coming to review
  
  1. Thathom thaka
  
  Excellant beat reminding me 'gumthalakkadi gumthalakkadi..' song from mannan. Very good number with nice rendering by ila Arun and Swarnalatha.Raja kalakkufies with lots of instruments.
  
  2. Kadhal Meedhu
  
  This is a very good number and you all would have got this on web by now.
  
  3.Allana Nall mudhala
  
  Good folk song but I don't know how well this song is going to be fit for this movie, Agathiyan should know better.
  
  4.konji Pesu Kovam
  
  Excellent melody by IR and Sujatha, very could blend of instruments.
  
  5. alai Meedhu
  
  Bavadharini has done her best for the song though Sujatha or Chithra would have done better. Very good clasical song.
  
  6. manasai thotta Kadhal
  
  Very good number and different kind of song for Hari and he has done it very neatly with out any flaw. I like the line 'Nee kanda pennin nenjil Nee illai thozha thozha' followed by excellant drums.
  
  7.Diana Song, Nee urangum Kovilil
  
  The best song of the album, again Hari has justified his choice by IR,particularly he goes to high pitch with out any difficulty. Chorus part is too good and it is a very good tribute for Diana by IR.Lyrics also adds a lot for this song.
  
  Additional Comments:
  1 The album is very much IRish no one need to worry about this, though he has to adapt to modern time listeners he has done it nicely.
  2. Recording quality needs to be improved a lot.
  3. Songs in B side should have first as it would have attracted many.

  Regarding Kadhal Kavidhai.
  
  Yes lyrics to all songs are by Agathiyan excelpt alaimeedhu which is by IR.

  Another point I missed in my review is interludes , IR has done his excllant work of interludes in all the three Hariharan songs and song sung by IR himself.

  I also enjoyed the following recent IR's work
  
  I am very much enjoying IR's ponnuVeettuKaran , to mention specific
  
  1.illaiya nilave sung by Bavadharini and Srinivas, real good one, the interludes in this song is equal in standards to 'ennai Thalatta varuvaLa' from KM.Bava has done real nice work in this song.
  
  2.nandhavana kuile, I like both Hari and IR version, the lyrics for this song is just too good , interludes again needless to say.
  
  3.ponnuVeettuKarangalle , a nice one by SPB , I like the chorus in this song and also the lyrics.
  
  4.Annan ivan, a real fast beat song like santhanam jaVadhu from valli or Das Das chinnappa Das Das from Kadlora kavidhaigall , I like this beat.
  
  Another IR work 'THODARUM'
  
  1. 'oru thullir onnu' by unni & bava, again bava is singing very nicely this song, the interludes are just too good as also it has a brilliant start.
  
  2.'shock adikkum' a fast beat number sung by Hari, IR is very nicely mixing fast drum beats with Tabla
  
  3.'yamma yamma thalli sellu'- a very good number by SPB and I think Sujatha. Very nice score.
  
  I like the following numbers from 'THALAIMURAI' very much
  
  1.thathi thathi Adum Poove by Sujatha, excellant beat and real nice song .
  
  2.Velli mani- a very good song similar to 'Rakku muthu Rakku' sung nicely by Arunmozhi .
  
  3.Enna petha Rasa, Sunandha's version, nice one nice voice and very good interludes for this song by IR.
  
  Overall I am very very happy that IR is back to form giving excellent songs

  Hi,
  
  After reading Naga's piece of info, i think this one has a link to it..
  Till last saturday, there was a hoarding near saphire theatre at mount road, madras.
  Today it wears a new look with the ad. for a new movie. Parthiban seems
  to have had a hand in designing the hoarding and as usual, he has done it differently.
  
  The hoarding doesnt have the name of the movie or the other usual stuffs..
  It has the painting of a storm whirling around and the all familiar profile of IR
  beautifully painted aside, with the names R.Parthiban & Prakashraj written beneath
  and the following wordings at the top
  "MAIYYAM KONDA PUYAL ONDRU UNGALAI NOKKI VANDHU KONDIRUKKIRADHU.. RASIGARGALE THAYAARAAGUNGAL !!"
