paamaran ---> Onnu namba purujukanam. IR'kku agambaavm iruntha how does it matter us. He's not showing that on us or in way we are getting affected (but for the fact that he's (and we as listeners) missed out working with good directors (of yesteryears?? :-) ).
So in all we just don't have any business to talk how he behaves or what he does in his personal life. There's been a talk about personal attacks on people in the forum. I beleive it also applies to attack MD's as well (right Mr.Ravi ??). So please refrain from such attacks.

my 2 cents thoughts:
Agambhavam might reduce mds oppurtunity to work with more directors, but it will not or cannot reduce a mds talent. It is the directors worry to deal with the MD, we are more concerned with the musical outputs than thier social behaviour.
Also Talent is natural, agambhavan is not, some say when this talent increases agambhavam grows or spreads, this is somewhat true.

Does IR have agambavam? is a separate topic by itself. But I do not think he has been disrespectful to anybody. He has only reacted to certain people when he felt that they did not either respect his work or when they spoke ill of him.
Caution: Digression
And moreover who do you call talented directors?. Has there been any new talents(I hear only of sethu's director)?. And has any of the so called old directors - bharathi raja, mani rathinam, balachander etc. - produced any big hits or great films of late?. I think there is a dearth of talents in the field of direction?. This is not only affecting IR but also ARR. ARR talents are not being exploited (or exposed?) since there are no demanding directors - (unless ofcourse if you could call shankar a very demanding director).
Sorry for the digression but thought I should express it,

Another Digression
Ramesh, what U said is absolutely right about frssh talent. But I stll have faith in Mani, BR, Fazil and KB as far as bringing out the best from the MD's.
"kuliruthu" from TajMahal was a splendid duet. But the problem is I fear these directors sans Fazil are running out of stuff or our tastes are changing. Change is in-evitable. I wish IR has a patch with them again :-)

Srinath,
Thanx for the link. That review exactly matches with my taste. So happy about that. I'm so curious to know about Gnanakoothan song. Is it "Isaiyil thodanguthamma"? Can any one verify this?

hi neruppu
the movie is good, songs are picturized well, as usual it is very neat movie from Fazzil. The bgm is better than sethu and other movies. Iravu pagalai-KJ song is a title song.I think all the magazines will write about the bgm of the movie.

Who has sung Olai kudisaiyila of Tirunleveli. The song is impressive in the way it has been composed and sung.

Srikanth, i guess thats true. My cousin is in music retail business and he too had similar views about Heyram. Though they were little anxious about it in the first few days, they are very happy with the constant sales after that.

Srikanth, Neruppu -- very very happy to hear that Hey Ram is doing well in music sales. A long due and well deserved break for Raja. Hope this boosts Raja's morale and confidence :-)))
What 'bout Kannukkul Nilavu and Tirunelveli? Has the music been well received? (Raja should take care to see that at any give time, not more than one of his much-awaited albums are released. Hey Ram might overshadow Kannukkul Nilavu)

I saw KannukkuL nilavu in NAZ8 in Fremont,CA. The songs are picturised very well. Unfortunately, the audio in the theatre was bad and so couldnt hear much of the BGM. Also, with constant comments from the audience. One of the duets (oru nAL oru kaNavu) had very little orchestration or it was too low in volume that it prompted somebody from the audience to comment, 'vAsinga ilayarAja'.
Re: BGM I noticed electric guitar to portray tension, dance kind of music for Vijay crazily running out of the house etc. I cant say more than this about the BGM. The 'nilaVu pAttu' song was picturised so well it blended so well with the movie, it didnt feel like a separate song at all.
